Are you looking for a flexible opportunity to volunteer, while seeing the real-life impact you're making? CNIB has the position for you!
As a Vision Mates, you are paired with a person who is blind or partially sighted to help with sighted tasks in their home, deliver groceries, or call to chat. Our current volunteers find this both easy (it feels like spending time with a friend) and flexible (visits/calls are scheduled between the volunteer and their match at a mutually convenient time). Training is provided.
We’re currently looking to match:
- Matthew, 59, Arcadia is looking for a volunteer to help with reading mail and books, organizing, and running errands late in the morning. He is in a wheelchair and is almost completely blind. He is a retired musician and music producer, who enjoys David Bowie and John Prine. Sometimes his cellphone answers itself and goes right to his message, best to call again as he can’t access his voicemail. He is a smoker and has a cat named Jasper.
- C, 20s, Tusket, is looking for a female volunteer to help with reading and organizing during afternoons and shopping on special occasions. She enjoys books, movies, plants, the Big Bang Theory, board games, Cribbage, and Disney.Interested in volunteering for this position? Email jeff.deviller@cnib.ca and he'd be happy to answer any of your questions!

I need a tow. You want fuel $?
My boat is in Shelburne NS and I want to get it to Ontario. Because the water is about to get too hard to use it I'm not in a hurry. Because of Covid 19... I can't just pop by and pick it up without quarantine for 14 days. I'm looking for someone that has a class 3 hitch and is coming to Ontario. Ideally Drop it off in London but anywhere near Toronto is OK.
Timeline: The next few weeks would be ideal four towing weather wise.
The boat and trailer weigh about 2500lb. (I tow it with a minivan that has a 3000lb towing limit.) The trailer doesn't have breaks. Boat and trailer are about 21' long.
So If you have car insurance, a hitch and the ability to tow and your coming to Ontario let me know.
I'm looking at paying $500 to have it dropped off in London at your leisure. That should look after fuel and put $ in you pocket.
Please contact me through Kijiji with any questions.

Will you be reimbursed for your time? Participants will receive $40 for filling out the questionnaires and working with our app for one month. We will ask participants to fill out questionnaires again after three months. So, if you complete the study you will receive $60.

I'd like to get my boat form Shelbornd NS to Ontario. Covid won't let me pick it up myself without a 14 day Quarantine ... I'm in Ontario.
The boat is 2500lb and on it's own trailer. Over all the length is 21'. It has a 2" hitch and tows nicely but has no trailer brakes.
Ideally whoever brings this will drop it off in London Ont. I'm happy to pay $600 for that.
An alternative is delivering the boat along the 401 for a reduced fee.
If your driving from the East Coast this will pay for your fuel and some.
The photo is of the boat. It is road ready and can be picked up anytime this week.
Timing is up to you. Just want it by Dec 1/2020. I'm not in a huge hurry but do want to get the boat home before its frozen to the ground.

NOTE: only looking for NORMAL friendship. NO DATING/NO FWB/NO HOOK-UPS/NO PERVERTS etc... Any gross msgs sent to me will be ignored.
I'm an autistic young adult looking for friends around my age (20's-early 30's) to hang out with.
I love playing sports, especially hockey, football, basketball, soccer and others. I will even play goalie in soccer. I'm not afraid to be tackled playing football either. I love watching mma & wrestling too. I also like going swimming a lot in the summer.
I also like supersoakers & nerf guns & would like a friend who wouldn't mind doing that stuff for fun too. I also like joking around a lot & play-fighting/wrestling just for fun & pulling pranks like noogies etc... I'm so hyper, I'll even let a friend prank me with a pie in the face or dump slime on my head etc... if the weather's nice enough just for the silly fun of it lol.
I'd also like a buddy I could hang out and watch sports on tv with, especially CFL, Rugby, NHL, NBA and other sports. This would probably have to wait until covid-19 is over though.
I'm a super nice person who's been bullied A LOT & it takes me a long time to trust new people. I do have friends around my age who aren't disabled like me but they're so busy with work and/or university, I don't get to see them much. I also have to be really careful about covid-19 due to a weak immune system and may not be able to meet someone new for a little while depending on the covid-19 community spread situation at the time though.
Anyways, please msg if I sound like someone you could be friends with.

We are a family of 4 desperately seeking a 3 or 4 bedroom home that is dog friendly. We have senior dogs that are non negotiable as they are old and do not have many years left. We are looking for a long term rental. We do not smoke and both my husband and I have stable incomes. Our kids are 14 and 22 although the older child is out of town most of the time. The home we currently have been renting for the last 4 years is being listed for sale soon. We have excellent references and will treat your home like our own and i know the current property manager we deal with will agree with that. Our daughter attends gatez brook Jr high and so we will like to be anywhere in that school district. We can be available to move for April, May, or June 1st or even possibly at the latest July 1st so please consider us if you have something coming available. We would be happy to put you in contact with our current property manager for a reference.

Hey I’m a woman looking for a another woman to be friends with. I enjoy the great outdoors, camping, hiking, health, cooking, the beach, meditation, yoga, not gossiping about other people, deep conversations, relaxed chill atmosphere, drumming, singing bowls,
and lots more lol.
I’m in my 30s, age doesn’t matter to me, and I’m in a committed relationship.
Please feel free to message me.
