Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Butler to provide exceptional service in a private residence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain a high level of discretion. As a Butler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the household while catering to the needs and preferences of the residents.
Duties
Provide personalized service to residents and guests, including meal preparation, serving meals, and managing dining experiences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas within the residence, including dining rooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Manage household inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring that all necessary items are stocked.
Assist with event planning and execution, including setting up for gatherings and ensuring that all details are attended to.
Coordinate with other household staff to ensure seamless operations and communication.
Handle laundry and wardrobe management for residents, including care for garments and accessories.
Maintain confidentiality regarding household matters and respect the privacy of residents at all times.
Comfortable with assisting nanny with childcare when needed.
Comfortable with assisting with driving when needed
Experience
Previous experience as a Butler or in a similar role within a private residence or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and formal service standards is essential.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A valid driver’s license may be required for errands or transportation duties.
