Location: Greater Toronto Area (Mainly West GTA)
Job Type: Full-time employee, 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate: Starting at $30/hour, based on experience

Required Qualifications & Skills:
10 years of experience with medium to large-scale residential projects in carpentry, framing, drywall, flooring, and cabinetry.
Post-secondary education in construction and/or related field.
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee timelines and operations.
Positive leadership skills and interpersonal skills with experience managing crews and subcontractors.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills to collaborate with management, subcontractors, workers and clients.
Strong ability to read blueprints, drawings and understand schematics for effective project execution.
Strong math skills for project calculations and measurements.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to be creative with solutions adapt to changing project requirements and challenges.
Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety standards for the Province of Ontario.
Knowledge of the Ontario and Canadian building code to ensure projects are compliant.
Proficient in construction related equipment operation and various hand tools.
Experience in carpentry work drywall installation techniques and concrete forming processes with a focus on structural integrity and aesthetics.
Valid G Driver’s License (clear of restrictions) and reliable vehicle for traveling between job sites.
Legally eligible to work in Canada. Own basic carpentry tools and safety equipment such as safety boots, glasses, hardhat.
Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight. Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to understand project requirements.
Supervise crews and oversee subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations throughout the construction process.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Utilize construction equipment for various tasks as required on-site.
Perform hands-on tasks such as drywall installation, concrete forming, carpentry, electrical work, and construction painting when necessary.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and material usage, maintaining accurate records.
Provide professional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Coordinate project tasks, including scheduling, material orders, and subcontractor management.
Maintain health and safety standards on-site.
Travel between job sites as needed.
