Hey I have a nice 79 Thundercraft boat with a super clean 1980 outboard Murcury 115hp motor , the boat runs and drives perfect ,has a full fish finder built in, has a brand new starter , a 40gallon gas tank in the front of boat and it has a 20gallon in the back for a spare , all the wiring works and that perfect I was in the process of upgrading the bildge pump switch but old ones still hooked up just hanging. Will need new trim switch but still can use it .could use a new prop soon, Seats could use some work but work as is, The trailers a 1977 wisco has new tires and lights, new trailer Jack . We have one support rack remaking from the 2023 summer season and have reduced the price by 10%, so give us a call!
​This Paddle Sports Rack was designed to support three of your paddle sports units; from a canoe, paddle board and/or kayak. However, unlike our normal yard racks which are designed to be on your lakefront yard, this rack is designed to attach either to your dock or optionally in an area where access to both sides of a normal yard rack is not possible.
It is made from Eastern White cedar which is an excellent wood for external use and has anti-rotting and anti-insect/termite properties. Ground support blocks are attached to the horizontal bottom supports to keep them out of the moisture in the ground. also extending the longevity of the rack.
The length of the rack is 72 inches, width is 64 inches with 40 inch support arms and the rack is approximately 66 inches high. It is constructed using Mortise and Tenons joints which are glued/screwed to provide the strength to support your kayaks and/or paddleboards. ​Each arm has been planed so that a 3/8" thick strip of HDPE (aka hockey board) can optionally be attached to prevent any scratches to you paddle sports equipment or the wood support arms.
The support rack can optionally be finished with a marine spar urethane which provides excellent weather protection and allows for the beauty of the cedar to be seen and offers a long lasting beautiful finish.
We also provide anchor supports on each arm as an option, which allows you to secure your paddle sports units to the support rack.
Finally, we can provide ground tie downs for your paddle sport rack. A support rack fully loaded with canoes/kayaks/paddle boards can in effect become a sail in areas exposed to wind. Therefore it is advised that the paddle sport rack be anchored to the ground.
The price quoted is for a support rack with no options. It does not include any staining / urethaning, unit tie down anchors, ground tie down anchors, or the HDPE hockey board on the support arms.
