Hello,
I'm looking to jam with some musicians and hopefully join a band. I've been playing bass since early 2020 and I've had enough of just practicing on my own. It's time to jam out with some other musicians and see what awesome music we can make. I'm open to covers, originals, whatever - just looking to play!
My influences are mostly classic rock - lots of blues scales and simple chord progressions. Can sing background vocals as well.I'm 42 and live in Kanata. Have transportation but no jam space. Looking forward to jamming with you!

I am looking for individuals who are able to help with the production of a beat, where I could compose lyrics over time and eventually record a song. It has been a passion of mine for a long time and would like some help in finishing a project. The style of music I am wanting to write varies from hip hop, dance or dancehall.
Thank you

Hi there, I'm Alex. I'll start off by saying I'm a transgender woman so if you're not cool with that you won't like me lol. I just moved back to Sudbury after being away for 7 years and would love to start a band!
I've been playing drums for 17 years and have experience writing, recording and performing live. I also love to sing and have always wanted to front a band.
I listen to a wide variety of music but punk is my love. I'm a big fan of bands like descendents, nofx, bad religion, the offspring, etc when it comes to more traditional punk. I'm also into a lot of the newer pop/punk/indy stuff like pup, Joyce manor, microwave, Jeff Rosenstock etc.
If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you!

Looking for people who would be interested in putting together a Outlaw Country/Country Rock project together. Not really interested in playing the stuff that is on mainstream radio. Check out some of the Red Dirt Scene groups for reference. I am a laid back easy going person who doesn't mind having a beverage or 2 during rehearsal, as long as it doesn't become the focal point of the session. I am mainly a rhythm guitar player myself and looking for other drama free players to get somehing off the ground, message me back here and we can start collaborating

Good evening, Despite in-person lessons are much better, I'm offering online sessions as well. Look forward to talking with you!
My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home. My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay. Feel free to respond to this ad, call or text: 647-294-0493. (I'm quite busy, if you text the instrument you wish to learn, I'll call as soon as I'm available)

Experienced vocalist/guitar player, looking for dedicated musicians with stage experience for a Unique, intimate unplugged tribute show. Featuring songs from Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Stp etc. From the Era of Great Acoustic performances. I would really love to do these awesome 90s grunge/hard rock tunes a true as close as note for note tribute as possible.
Looking for Acoustic lead, rhythm and bass as well as back up vox drums, precession etc. Multi instrument musicians would ne an asset. Really what I am looking for are musicians that LOVE this Era as much as I do. I can do most lead vocals but would love if someone else is a better fit for the song to put their soul into it. Initially I'd like to do a cool Intimate sit down show where people can become part of the experience.
If any of this sounds like something you'd LOVE to be a part of, Please give me a call.

Hey I’m Jessica Scholey, a 36 year old aspiring singer from the Peterborough area looking to start/join a band. I recently released my debut single ‘One Last Goodbye’ but haven’t been able to do much else with it as I am bandless! Would really love to finally get something going musically. My song was recorded, produced and co-written by Cody Watkins, drummer of Saint Asonia. Check it out on all streaming platforms and hit me up if you’re interested in possibly making something happen.

I’m a drummer looking for other musicians to jam and make music with. My style is chill, low-tempo music, like ambient and lofi beats type of stuff. I’m not a pro. I also have a foundational grasp on music theory.
As long as you can jam on a few chords, we can have fun and make music together.

Just a easy going dude in my 30's wanting to create with other fellow musicians in the Burlington/Hamilton area. I'm wanting to play the Bass and do some backing vocals for this project. Everyone is welcome to contribute ideas.
Some influences include but not limited to:
-Sonic Youth, Meat puppets, guided by voices, the Jesus Lizard, the replacements
-The Cure, The Fall, Wipers, Low, Yo La Tengo
- I hate labeling music but post punk, dreampop, 90's hard rock kinda vibeI like that dynamic when the music moves from quiet to loud, vice versa.
Looking for 1 or 2 guitarist(s), a drummer, keys and electronics would be cool, wanting to play originals mainly. Find a good chemistry and do some small gigs occasionally. Be great to have a chance to record!
Ego, politics ,etc..not applicable. Just the music and good people that matters!
If this sounds like something that sparks your interest, great! Like to hear feedback.
Thanks for the interest,
Tom

Hey! I’m a poet, learning guitar, wanting to breach into the songwriting / music making industry, but my lack of musical talent holds me back. I’d love to learn from others more adept, and the recent instruments I had stuck in my mind that I think would work well with some of the lyrical ideas I had would be a folk based band, with fiddles, violins, guitars and the more string based instruments.
Most of my lyrics are nature based, the recent ones I have poorly recorded on my voice memos is a simple violin tune followed with “Oh! we’re running down the meadows; / running down with joy. // We’re running down the meadows / to where the flowers grow. // Oh! we’re running like the river, / running like the falls. // We’re running …..”
and the other one that I felt would work well, is along the topics of being drunk on life/nature, with lyrics like, “I lay near the bar called the beach shore, / waving ‘till the waves wave back. // I drink from the lake by the mountain, / sleeping like the current ‘gainst the rock. // I swim in the booze of the sunrise, / stumbling with the sun during sunset. // I dance with the lady moonlight, / bright at the bottom of the bottle. // Mother! // Oh Mother! // I’m drunk! / once more. // Drunk! / once more. // Father! // Oh father! // I’m sorry / for drinking. // Sorry / for drinking ….”
These are the main ideas I had been recently messing around with. The earliest song I’ve written that got me on this bandwagon is, “It was just / you and me / sitting under oak trees, / singing ‘till the sun went down. // The moon awakened / and it cursed your face / with a glow / that matched your smile. // Don’t you look at me / like you look at candle flames / right before you blow them out. // Look at me / like you did / underneath the shooting stars. / wishing it would never end // An airplanes engine and an oceans gap. / A car packed tightly, I can’t look back. // A rear view mirror and a wave goodbye. / A final kiss, you better not cry …”
Let me know if any of these peak your interest, and if you want to meet up sometime. I’m currently on the job hunt, so I have a bit too much free time, and would love to meet up with some folksy people, if they feel they can figure out a tune surrounding these lyrics.
I feel if you’ve gotten this far, you may be interested. A bit about me: I’m a curious guy, love nature, grew up travelling, moving every 2 or 3 years, so I have difficulty meeting people, and knowing exactly what a friendship even entails. So if you are intrigued, it’s likely I’ll be extremely awkward, which is beautiful because who isn’t?
I’m a photographer too. I’m learning to knit, having figured out the long-tail cast on, but not knowing how to continue next. Despite trying to stick to a more regular sleep schedule, I always wake up (duh!) and through my day find myself constantly yawning. I’d love to play catch, but haven’t in a while. I don’t have a car, nor my license, so I definitely feel trapped nature exploration wise. I want to explore abandoned locations. Yeah. I’m sure there’s more, but the crows are begging me to send this off, before I reveal that I’m just a lonely murderer looking for a new victim to play music with.
