I'm kind of a ringer. Can fit in in a lot of settings. Excellent theory knowledge to create working basslines, song arrangements, lyrics. Can groove really well. Lots of free time to schedule in jams, rehearsals, gigs. I'm 41, into lots of genres and have my own solo acid jazz guitar project out on streaming. Looking to play bass in more marketable genre though.

My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home. My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay. I inherited an extensive library of great classical music recordings and have a Thorens turntable, NAD CD player, Quad electrostatic speakers, and a Bose bluetooth speaker. I am interested in meeting people who would like to listen to these recordings with me occasionally over coffee or tea. I have a spreadsheet listing the recordings which could be used as a resource. I have been playing drums for over 20 years. During that time, I've been fortunate to tour Canada and record a number of albums.
Over the last couple of years, I have started working as a session drummer, creating both programmed drum tracks and recording acoustic drum tracks. I find myself working mainly on rock/hard rock, pop, folk, singer-songwriter styles of music.

I am a guitar/bass player and aspiring recording engineer. I have a current song I need drums for. I've hired a few drummers off of Fiverr for this particular song but haven't been able to get what I need since it has some tricky off-time parts. I have a set of Roland TD30KVS here, but as a mere hobbyist drummer I'm not good enough to pull it off. I think I could work it out with a real drummer if I had one here in the studio.
The kit is set up left handed since I am, but it's a real pain to switch it to right hand. If there's any left handed drummers out there interested in giving this a go I'd like to hear from you. I'm willing to pay for a track that I will use. The genre is hard rock.

Looking to have a laugh as a Brit who’s recently moved here with previous weddings band experience in England. Practise a bit, commit to a democratically chosen set list, then proceed to play a couple of pubs to see how it goes down live.
Really not looking for egos, rulers, or those looking to break the world with originality. Simply a pub covers band, whose members have a laugh whilst playing a few British tunes.
I believe there to be a niche market for this category of band if the wheels were ever to start rolling… I am confident pub gigs would not be hard to come by for a cohesive outfit.
Song choice should not pose a problem given the cannon to choose from, and the openness of members.

We are two musicians looking for a bassist to join our band.We play keyboard, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and a few other instruments.
We are influenced by Indie Alternative Rock and Rock music in general.
Our favourite musicians are Jimi Hendrix, Sum 41, LANY, CHVRCHES, The Killers, New Order, Victor Crone, Nickelback, Daughtry, and Paramore among many.
We are committed and dedicated to our music and we are looking for someone who is also committed and dedicated.

New band looking for a rock star lead guitar player that can write his/her own riffs and solos but also sing back-ups and harmonies. Ideally someone who owns good gear and knows how to use it. Also important you know your notes, not just fret numbers. Gotta keep up!
