Good evening, Despite in-person lessons are much better, I'm offering online sessions as well. Look forward to talking with you!
My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home. My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay. Feel free to respond to this ad, call or text: 647-294-0493. (I'm quite busy, if you text the instrument you wish to learn, I'll call as soon as I'm available)
Thanks for reading, I hope we chat soon! "Music is the mediator between the spiritual and sensual life" - Ludwig Van Beethoven.

I’m a drummer in my mid 30s living in Kincardine but I'll commute for practice. I'm mainly interested in writting original tunes and gigging as much as possible. My playing style is strongly influenced by John Bonham from Led Zeppelin and Brad Wilk from Rage Against The Machine, but I’ve got a wide rhythmic vocabulary and like to experiment. My taste is versatile with the sweet spot being in the 1960s, 70s, 90s, blues, funk, psychedelia, hard rock, jam band spectrum. Additionally I’ve got some pre-existing drum and bass tracks to work with, written by me and my Dad that just need other instruments in the mix. He's not confident in his abilities and want’s another bass player to take over for him and we’re open to other band members contributing their own ideas and suggesting changes to what we’ve got written.

Hi there. My name is Josh. I am a talented lyric writer who CANT sing, rap or play an instrument. I feel like my words and pain are going to waste. I have a high level education and a lifetime of experiences and pain to draw on and only write for my wife and myself right now. I'm 38 and more than willing to share my pain or joy in my words. If anyone from rapper to folk singer is willing I would love the opportunity to collaborate. I have NEVER reached out to make music before but I wanna do it.... I just need a rhythm and a topic and I will give you any examples you need. Thsnks- Josh

Bass/Keys/Vocal and Drum/synth/vocal duo looking for lead guitarist. Someone who likes heavy music, funk and experimental/psychedelic music. Preferred age range is 25-50. We are 32 and 35 ourselves.
We do mainly original music and improvised jams. Not many shows, thus far. Side project at this point.
Good big amp, no DI guys. Lots of effects desired. 7 string guitar is cool, 8 unnecessary. Vocal and/or keyboard skills an asset, but not required. Previous band experience is a must.
Major influences include King Crimson, Mr. Bungle, Fantomas, Melvins, Frank Zappa, Boris, Deftones, Fishbone, and countless others.
Based in Tillsonburg. Text me, Josh, at 437-449-6890 if interested, or for more info.

Hello! My name is Keenan Reimer-Watts. I am opening a private studio out of Troy, Ontario. I teach all ages and have taught for 10 years privately, and played music in a variety of contexts for a lot longer than that!
I can teach advanced piano, intermediate guitar and violin, and many other instruments more casually... but still very fun. I have composed probably 1000 pages of sheet music, written for many different instruments and ensembles, from solo tuba to orchestra. I have even composed and premiered my own concerto with an orchestra! I have also self-released 38 albums, EP's and singles, exploring a variety of genres and playing a multitude of different instruments.
So, I am happy to help you learn music and express yourself, also! Please contact me if you want to organize a time to meet, at keenanreimerwatts@gmail.com. I am teaching on Wednesdays first, and potentially other days when that day fills up nicely :)
My website is www.keenanreimerwatts.com. All my creative output is free up there and for your exploration! It is essentially an online journal where my heart is open for others to read.
I am charging $40 for a 1 hour lesson, $25 for a half hour. Lessons can be e-transfer, cash, paid each week, or per month.
Hope to hear from you!
Keenan

We are a band currently of 3 members (30, 30, and 31 y.o.). We are looking for a singer around our age give or take some years (preferably female due to our previous singer, but male would work too). Bands we currently cover are Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Fallout Boy, Linkin Park, Nirvana, Mayday Parade and more. Some finished or in the works originals as well.
This is a hobby for us at this point, but we would love to get back to the point of playing shows now and then. Currently practicing on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule.
Reach out if interested!

I am a professional male life model who has worked with area artists and universities for a number of years. I am offering private sessions to artists wanting to draw from a live model. This could be for a single artist or a small group.
I am in good shape, well groomed, kind, professional and reliable. I have numerous references if needed.
I offer years of experience which translates into dynamic and interesting poses for you to work from.
My hours are very flexible most any day of the week with some advanced notice & I can often accommodate last minute booking as well. Sessions from one or to four hours available.
Serious inquiries only please.
