Study Title: How do you feel about Covid-19?
Eligibility Requirements: Seeking individuals who are 17 years or older who can read and write well in English to partake in a two-part study. This study examines the psychological and behavioral responses to Covid-19 and examining the potential benefits of expressive writing on processing and coping with challenges posed by Covid-19.
Study description: The objective of this two-phase study is to examine the relationship between personality characteristics and life circumstances on coping responses to the 2019 Coronavirus (Covid-19). For phase 1, participants will complete an online questionnaire. The online questionnaire will ask questions about participants’ current life circumstances (e.g., employment status and type, how they are currently affected by Covid-19), their mental health status (e.g., anxiety, depression), how they cope with negative life events or challenges, and how they feel about the future. The second phase of the study will consist of completing daily online expressive writing activities for fourteen consecutives days. Participants will be asked to reflect on things that occurred earlier that day, while following guides to help them reflect on these events. The second phase of the study will also consist of completing three follow-up online questionnaires (2 weeks, 1 month, and 3 months after completing the writing program). Enrollment in phase 2 of the study requires the completion of the online questionnaire for phase 1. If participants are interested in enrolling in phase 2, they will have the opportunity to provide us with their email address to commence phase 2. This study has received ethical approval by the ethics board at the University of Ottawa.
Duration: The first phase of the study will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. For the second phase of the study, each writing entry will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete with the exception of the first session, which will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Each follow-up survey will take approximately 30-40 minutes to complete.
Benefits: The opportunity to engage in self-reflection and learn techniques that could help process and cope with challenges caused by Covid-19.
Compensation: The opportunity to win one of four 50$ money orders. Each writing session completed will correspond to the number of chances you will have to win one of four money prizes in a draw.
Contact: If participants have any questions about our research, they are encouraged to contact the research assistant (Kheana Barbeau, kbarb006@uottawa.ca).

Hello everyone!
Do you have any extra food at home? Maybe you bought extra canned food, pasta or rice during panic shopping in the beginning of the pandemic?
I am helping the non-profit organization TAMOGO collect food like non-perishables, fruits, vegetables and any child friendly food for the families in need that we work with. This year has been hard for everyone and we are in desperate need of food to give to hungry families that reach out to us asking for help. We work with Newcomers, immigrants and anyone that requires assistance.
I would be glad to schedule food donation pick-ups from your preferred location! This can be contactless. I can also let you drop your food items to my location basically anytime! You can also drop off your donations to 2400 Finch Ave West, unit 2b, Toronto.
Our clients also need cleaning supplies! We would be grateful for any help we can get.

Are you a progressive? Do you want to help elect progressive leaders in various jurisdictions to help usher in green transformation and new economics? Then here is a chance to be at the driver’s seat in bringing forth meaningful change in your community and beyond.
The newly launched ProgVersity platform, whose sole mission is to help train, fund, and elect progressive leaders, is looking for volunteers as a freelance talk show host/producer from the comfort of your home. All you need is a smartphone, a laptop/desktop, and internet access.
As a Talk Show Host, you will interview a wide variety of personalities in the progressive movement, and act as the bridge between audience viewers and the subject matters they are most interested in.
As a Host you will start alone from your location.
The work is serious and fun, and it requires a lot of raw talent and a likable personality. As the face of a show, you are largely responsible for its content, and the way it comes across to viewers, and who it’s going to appeal to. There is a lot of pressure in this line of work, and you have to be able to cover both serious subject matters and light hearted ones alike within the framework of progressive electoral politics and green political activism
You should have some post-secondary education.
Trustworthy: You are known for your personal integrity and honesty.
Levelheaded: You hold your emotions in check, even in tough situations.
Ready for a Challenge: You jump into new projects with initiative and drive.
Passion for progressive electoral politics.

I am a dental hygienist student coming to the end of my program and I'm in need of a few people who have not had dental cleanings in many years or have never had them.
A little about the program
The cost is $32 for adults and $27 for children and x-rays are an additional $35 at most depending on what is needed. As we are in a learning environment, it takes approximately 4-8 appointments, depending on what needs to be done. It is some of the most thorough and comprehensive care you will EVER receive as everything that is done is verified by the Dentist or the registered dental hygienist instructor. The clinic has also taken strict measures for infection control during COVID19 to ensure the client and clinician's safety.
students manage their own patients and schedule so if you're interested in booking message me and I will give you more information!
Thanks!
