Looking for collectors who would be willing to open up themselves and their collections for a documentary concept about people who collect things and why they collect those things.
The documentary would ask questions such as how their collection(s) began, why they collect certain items, criteria for collecting, personal stories about rare or hard to find items they are proud of, and of course, where does the collecting end.
Looking for collectors who are open to the idea of speaking candidly on camera and who would be willing to allow a very small camera crew into their homes or galleries.
I’m a collector myself so this documentary idea is something of personal interest to me and would be approached very respectfully.
If you are a collector who may be interested or if you know any collectors who may be interested in participating, please contact me. There is no time limit, this project is ongoing. Thank you for your time.

Note: This is an unpaid training and we do not offer jobs
The leading colleges charge thousands of dollars for providing the tuition for Medical Office Administrator or Health Office Administrator course. Most courses have a requirement to complete an externship – where the candidates have to complete an unpaid placement of 8 weeks in order for them to earn their diploma. Having completed the course does not guarantee a job and candidates often times end up in professions completely unrelated to their field of study, purely because they are unable to secure jobs in their field of study. The reason is simple, employers need candidates who can do the job from day 1 and be good at it and not the candidate who have only the bookish knowledge and even that is often not how the things are working in the offices.
We provide a completely free of cost training program at our clinic. This will be an on-job training. This training will equip the candidates with below skills that are required for a Medical Office Secretary:
Familiarizing with the secretarial/front-desk duties
Receiving and booking patients
Basic understanding of patient triage (which is way more than what candidates would get in a college)
Hands-on training and use of Electronic Medical Records Software
Dealing with patient’s records
Understanding of medical reports and records
Patient chart structure and its filing
Interacting with the Physician and medical staff
Patient interactions
Conflict resolution
Patient calls
Basic OHIP billingThe above is not an exhaustive list and there will be more learning opportunities. Successful candidate completing the full training will get a certificate confirming their attendance/training and a reference from the Clinic.
We are a family physician’s practice that has been established for over 40 years and is currently being run by young and experienced female physician with wealth of experience gained from working in multiple countries/jurisdictions. The Electronic Medical Records system used is TELUS PS Suite, which is one of the most commonly used systems. The Physician/ clinic are part of a group of twelve physicians who work collaboratively in a FHO group. As such the working practices established at this clinic are in line with the industry standards.
Due to our outstanding professionally experienced staff, it is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to get familiar with office/working practices within a family physician’s office. The office is currently going through the process of converting paper based patient records into electronic patient records in the EMR software. This has created an opportunity to work on live patient data and utilize the EMR portal at expert level. Full training, support and supervision will be provided to support the candidate throughout the placement.
What do you need to complete this training:
• An eager and enthusiastic candidate who will is keen to advance their career and does not shy away from work
• An education equivalent to 12th grade (Canadian or overseas)
• A commitment to attend the office full-time (weekdays only) for the duration of training which will last 8 /12 weeks (Exact duration will be discussed with the candidate and will depend on the candidate's ability. How to apply:
Please reply to this post providing your most up to date resume and a phone number to contact you on.
Please also explain, how will you manage the time commitment of being available during the week.

Carleton University Project Clearance
Clearance #: 117926 Date of Clearance: November 28, 2022
Volunteers needed for Couples Intimacy Study
We are looking for volunteers for a study examining physiological arousal during romantic couples’ conversations about sexual or relationship intimacy. Specifically, we want to examine differences in the quality of physiological arousal people exhibit when they discuss positive aspects of either sexual or relationship intimacy. Participants will receive an honorarium of $20.00 cash for participating and reimbursement for parking or bus fare, if needed. The study takes place at the Carleton University Social Psychophysiology (CUSP) Lab (Rooms A501 and A507 of the Loeb Building).
First, you will be asked to complete a brief online questionnaire to determine your eligibility to participate. Couples who are eligible will be asked to complete additional online surveys about their demographics, personality traits, and other related questions. Then, couples will come into our lab to talk about sexual or relationship intimacy while we continuously record their heart rate, thoracic blood flow, blood pressure, respiration rate, and electrodermal activity. Participants will be audio-recorded as they complete the study. We will also ask participants to complete questionnaires about their health and personal and relationship well-being. After discussing sexual or relationship intimacy participants will sit for a physiological recovery period. They will then be debriefed and compensated.
To ensure accurate physiological readings, if possible, please refrain from consuming any stimulants or depressants in the 24 hours prior to coming to our lab (i.e., alcohol, caffeine, marijuana, nicotine, or other controlled substances). At least 4 hours prior to the start of the session, please refrain from engaging in any physical exercise.
Please note: Electrode placement requires that experimenters come into physical contact with participants, and, in most cases, participants will be required to adjust or remove their outer clothing during electrode placement. We kindly ask that participants do not wear dresses, skirts, or shirts with large collars (e.g., turtleneck sweaters). This will ensure both maximum comfort for the participant and will ensure that we can collect high-quality data. Should a participant choose to remove their outer clothing for any of the above reasons, they will be offered a hairdresser’s apron to wear to ensure their privacy. At no point will a participant be asked to remove their undergarments.
To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old, in a romantic relationship of six months or longer, and both partners of that relationship will need to consent to participate in the study together. Recruitment will allow for the inclusion of both heteronormative and same-sex couples. Given that this is a psychophysiological study, there are some eligibility requirements that apply: (1) they must not have been diagnosed with a cardiovascular disease such as hypertension or a heart murmur; (2) they must not have a pacemaker; and (3) they must not be pregnant or think they might be pregnant.
The study will take place on campus at Carleton University (Loeb Building, rooms A501 and A507) and should take approximately 2 hours to complete.
If you are interested, please email sexpositivestudy@protonmail.com for more details on participating.
This research has been cleared by Carleton University Research Ethics Board B Clearance # 117926.
Should you have any ethical concerns with the study, please contact the REB Chair, Carleton University Research Ethics Board-B (by phone: 613-520-2600 ext. 4085 or by email: ethics@carleton.ca). For all other questions about the study, please contact the researcher.

In this project, participants can learn about and share their love for photography and global and local environmental issues. If you are interested in topics such as climate change, waste management, animal protection and sustainability, and you also love taking photographs or want to develop your photography skills, then this project is for you!
While developing your artistic and technical photography skills, you will also be focusing on environmental and sustainability issues through non-formal activities such as workshops, discussions, presentations and visits facilitated by the project coordinators. One of our aims is to help create more environmentally aware consumers and travellers!
You will visit local projects focused on the environment and conservation. These may include hands-on activities or guided visits. Some examples include outdoor cleanup tasks, a community dinner or a visit to a recycling centre, a geothermal power plant, a museum or exhibition. Some of these activities are dependent on conditions such as weather, pandemic-related restrictions, as well as availability of our partners.
You will also have time to put the theory about photography into practice, walking around and exploring the city. At the end of the project, the best photographs from each participant are selected for an online exhibition. Participants should bring their own digital cameras, lenses, tripods and laptops if possible.
The program combines learning, sharing, hands-on activities, getting to know Iceland, its culture, having fun, exploring the capital city and some stunning nature attractions in the Golden Circle excursion or other excursions. Participants should prepare to share environmental issues from their countries and should be ready to spend time outdoors walking medium distances during activities and sightseeing.
In this project, we will organize a Night photography and Aurora hunting (Northern lights) workshop in the countryside in the close vicinity of Reykjavík. This will take place during late evening and possibly into the night. The Northern lights are a natural phenomenon depending on solar activity and meteorological conditions; we cannot guarantee you will see the Northern lights, but the night photography workshop will be organised anyway.

Volunteer Probono Help Please. Just to get items back
Hi there. I am having difficulty retrieving items from a local shoe repair store (cobler).
I DO NOT OWE ANY MONEY as the job was never started. I just want my items back so I can move on.I feel the owner is playing a "CONTROL GAME".
The ower has had my items for over a year and a half. Everytime I ask when I can get my items back, the owner says when they can go to their storage to pick up.
They repeatedly tell me to call them.
They have a store number and cell number which they never answer when I call.I have tried to balance asking for the items back not to badger the owner.
They are claiming and twisting that I have disappeared multiple times and thats not the case. I could not ask every week for my items to be returned as this just annoys the owner more.I just need someone to legally contact them to get my items back.
PLEASE, I am on assistance and working towards disability so I am struggling as is.It is only a few meaningful items.

Our Glorious Summer is a documentary project about the short-lived and much loved Canadian summers, as experienced by the residents of the country's largest city. Winters in Toronto can be hard to bear, but in the summer the city is a sweeter, gentler and brighter place. It's a green, lush and vibrant playground. The summers are so endearing and memorable that when August comes, when the temperatures start to drop, and the sun sets earlier, it can feel like the end of a very long and glorious party. There is even a palpable sense of mourning in the populace, as we shift from the season of life, growth and vitality to the decay and primitive hazards of fall and winter.
The short film documents the last few golden weeks of summer in Toronto, and will utilise the personal anecdotes and experiences of Torontonians, as they recount the significance of the summer in the Canadian psyche, and tell stories of how the transition out of summer impacts them.
If you are a Toronto resident and would you'd like to participate in the project; please upload an brief audio recording describing how you feel about the end of summer to this google form (https://forms.gle/YtXdkMkkyYtPRRTw7). If your clip is selected, you will be contacted with further details.
