This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. I am looking to see if there is interest among hockey coaches/parents to share ice time rentals through the City of Ottawa. The aim would be to partner up for private group development and rent ice during prime times to make it cheaper for all parties, and avoid the early mornings that make it tough for teens. We live centrally and would primarily be interested in the following rinks: Canterbury/Kilrea, Brewer, McNabb, Jim Durrell, Fred Barrett, Tom Brown and Sandy Hill but would consider others slightly beyond these. It's a competitive league with both men and women at all skill levels but still maintains a good level of play.
There are goalies, refs and stats.
All games are at 7:00am Monday through Friday.
The main rinks are Nepean Sportsplex, Walter Baker and Bell Centennial (west end)
There are 3 seasons, Sept to Xmas, Jan to end of April, May to end of August.
Teams are re-drafted for each season.

The photo is the cover to the midwest emo mixtape I'm writing all my own originals from scratch. I like the idea of acoustic sets over electric as I don't have the skill level on electric yet. my lead lacks so I mostly do rhythm guitar parts. So basically first of all looking for a drummer and we're good to go aswell as bassplayer when one is available for this style. Willing to do this remotely. But prefer within sarnia and trying to get gigs at pubs. Acoustic sets is perfect for pubs. I have 3 songs started hopeing to make atleast a dozen in total or 50 minutes worth of a mixtape. Also if you have a acoustic bass guitar that would kick ass. I have a electric drum pad it's kind of really cheap but I may be able to help with drums... I'll be using that until I find a real drummer.. might get an electric guitar on the 28th but will still prefer acoustic sets until we are known and able to hold down a small concert.

Mini Coiled Pine Needle Basket Workshop (Beginner/Intermediate)
Pine needle basketry is one of the oldest-known coiled basketry techniques. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic methods of making coils from locally available pine needles (3-4 inches in length) and stitching them together with a needle to form a simple basket (2 to 6 inches in size). Relax and enjoy the scent of pine while creating a unique miniature basket!Woven and Twined Bark and Lily Leaf Basket (Beginner/Intermediate)
Many cultures and peoples around the world have used a variety of natural materials to create baskets that are both beautiful and utilitarian for thousands of years. In this workshop, we’ll use woven bark and twining techniques (in which two wefts cross over each other between warps) to make small baskets. I’ll also teach how to incorporate different colours of leaves into the design, as well as how to make a lashed rim.Mini Twined Baskets (Beginner)
Many cultures and peoples around the world have used a variety of natural materials to create baskets that are both beautiful and utilitarian. Grasses, reeds, pine needles, and bark are just a few of the examples of items that can be dried and turned into baskets. In this workshop, we’ll focus on learning about twining, a technique in which two wefts cross over each other between warps. A variety of materials will be on offer, including cattails, corn husks, lily leaves, and grasses, meaning each basket will be unique and created entirely from nature!
