Hi, let me tell you about my house.
It is two houses in one, or a great large family home. Or an income property.
The downstairs has a large kitchen with lots of oak cupboards,and room for a table or large island.
It has a dining room/ or possible mud room that has a door into the backyard. Small deck with room for a bbq, and a small porch with electricity. The back yard is fenced in with raised gardens around the perimeter. It has a shed and closed in gazebo, a stone patio with a fire pit.
There are 3 bedrooms with closets, all will fit a queen size bed. There is a bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink with vanity and built in storage behind the toilet. There is another bathroom with a jet tub, and a sink with vanity
NO toilet. Living room with a door that leads to the front veranda. Where there is a nice little closed in porch looking out to the street.
Through the side porch you go upstairs to the right into an open kitchen, dining room and living room, there are skylights at the entry. To the left down the hall there are two bedrooms on the right. On the left there is a full bathroom, tub, shower, toilet and sink with large vanity. Another bedroom with large closet. At the end of the hall is a garden door that opens to the laundry room that has a sink and storage. The back door leads out to a deck that looks over the back yard and a view of the river.
The basement is only finished in one section that has the laundry room.
The front part of the house is around 100 years old, the back of the house was added on in the late 80’s.
It was the village store for most of those years. We closed the store at the end of 2018, and renovated the rest of the downstairs.
The house is very large for us now, we do not need all of this space so we are downsizing. See less
