Sask owner with vacation property in Tulum. I prefer to deal with Canadians and offer better rates. Also no fees etc when booking direct as opposed to other platforms. It’s a great place to put the wind back in your sails.
Hotel Casa Guadalupe in Tulum is tucked away in the secure La Valeta neighbourhood. Its location is second to none in the area. There’s world class dining options, atm, pharmacy and much more within a few minutes on foot. The area is full of boutique hotels but ours is one of few with a pool that spans wider than most city lots (approx 40’x20’). Our common garden courtyard area is full of palms and has several Palapas for your morning coffee by the pool.
Tulum is central to countless Cenotes and the beach is only a short 5 min drive to the hotel district with access via several restaurants. There’s excellent wifi, drinking water, and the whole place is gated for added security.
Tulum is different than Cancun or Playa Del Carmen in that the beach is part of the National Park and all of the beach front properties are Ejido Land (similar to reserve land). For this reason the hotels in this district charge exhorbitant prices to account for their leases (as opposed to fee simple ownership) - usually around $1000/night.
The units have everything you can expect. There are 12 units in the complex - perfect for groups or family gatherings. The place is ultra clean and in good order with our on site maintenance staff Oswaldo and his wife Leydi.
On booking we will share some travel tips to make the most of experiencing Tulum outside of the all inclusive world.
Tulum has a brand new airport but most fly to Cancun and cab it.

The Villa itself, set amid picturesque landscaping, and within a stone's throw of the lake is a spacious, elegantly appointed home-away-from-home, containing every comfort and luxury to make your stay absolutely perfect. the Great Room is graced With a 15 ' cathedral ceiling and a floor-to-ceiling natural stone working fireplace that vies for attention with the huge picture windows that overlook the lake. Elegant, but comfortable sofas and chairs surround the fireplace and also provide seating for viewing a large HD TV and DVD player. When needed, the sofa can be opened into a comfortable queen size bed. There is a charming separate den on the main floor that contains another pull-out couch, an en-suite bathroom and another TV. A spacious laundry/storage room makes it easy and convenient to keep things in order. And an additional beautiful bathroom services the public areas of the main floor.

Our lovely villa apartment is located in the beautiful Sea Palms Resort, which is on the seaside in Tower Isle, Jamaica. This is the perfect place to simply relax and unwind! We're close to almost all of the famous tourist attractions, yet our location a short drive east of the town of Ocho Rios is in a very peaceful, secure and serene setting - right on the sea surrounded by expansive manicured lawns, tropical plants and swaying palm trees. Our gated development has its own private white sand beach and large swimming pool, and we also have 24-hour security.
This apartment consists of two air-conditioned bedrooms with ceiling fans. The master has an ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, wall safe, comfortable king-size bed, and a Smart TV. The second bedroom also has a comfortable queen-size bed, Smart TV, and the bathroom is adjacent to it. There is a spacious dining area/living room with two ceiling fans, a Smart TV (with Amazon Prime and cable), and a stereo. The modern kitchen is equipped with full size appliances, microwave, toaster oven, coffee and panini makers, blender, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glassware, etc.
You can eat in the dining area or outside on our large covered veranda. Relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, you will enjoy the expansive tropical gardens and sea view. We offer high speed internet, in addition to a telephone which will allow you a short call home to Canada as well as local calls within Jamaica. Since the apartment is on the first floor, you simply walk straight from the veranda to access the pool and beach. Parking is right at your doorstep, and you can walk to several restaurants and a grocery store which are located close by. We are lately known as the "Epicurean Epicenter of Jamaica" since three of the island's finest restaurants are just steps away.
We will rent the villa as either a one bedroom for up to two guests at the rate of US$150 per night, or as a two bedroom for up to four guests at the nightly rate of US$230; holiday surcharges may apply. The minimum rental period is normally for two nights except for holidays where it is three night's minimum. Monthly rates are also available, including winter season! Our housekeeper will cook and clean at an additional charge.
