Looking for metal musicians to jam with. Black Metal, Death Metal and Thrash are my biggest stylistic influences, but I also like some nu metal, industrial, and some progressive metal (i.e. opeth, tool, meshuggah, not periphery).
I have written solos here and there, but I'm primarily a rhythm guitarist.
I'm looking to jam consistently once or twice a week and if there's musical chemistry, get a project going.
Looking mostly for a drummer with a jam space capable of doing blast beats, but also open to vocalist/guitarist/bassist who can offer input for structuring songs.
I have been collaborating with Chalice of Wrath, check them out on bandcamp (who does vocals/guitar/viola/programmed drums), but am open to starting a new project and/or building on songs with that group.

We are an established Ottawa indie rock band called Futura Free and we are looking for a session drummer to hire for a few paid live shows in the next couple months.
Our drummer is out of the country until June, and we are looking to play some live shows beforehand as part of our upcoming album rollout.
This is a paid position, so if you're interested let us know what your typical rate would be. We rehearse at Record Runner in Nepean and that expense would be covered by the band as well.
