Seeking part boarder for 16 y/o thoroughbred mare from now until fall. She will be bred in the spring and I am hoping to keep her fit during the first half of her pregnancy. Light trail riding possible after that point until she's closer to foaling. I have 3 other horses and don't have time to keep up with her exercise.
Nicknamed "the motorcycle" by students, Rita is quick, brave, and sensitive with a stellar work ethic. She's worn many hats: raced in her younger years, dabbled in hunters, schooled in eventing, and been a mother to multiple foals. Rita is a hot head and not shy to voice her opinions. Not dirty, but will throw in a crow hop or spin. For this reason, the ideal leaser is a confident intermediate to advanced rider with soft hands and a good seat who likes to go fast. Some limited jumping and the ability to participate in shows in the spring/summer with the right person. Jumps limited to 18" for now with room to go up in lessons.
Barn has indoor and outdoor rings, open fields for trail riding/conditioning, and will be adding an on-property cross country course in spring.
Rita has been in a regular professional program for 2 months. Needs more exercise to bring out her best qualities! $150 for 8 rides per month, of which 2-4 should be lessons for an additional $80-$160. Total $230 - $310. Number of lessons required dependent on rider skill.
Prospective riders will be required to take a trial evaluation lesson with my coach for $40.

Our cat, Angel, has been missing since May 27th 2023 at Brockington Crescent and Medhurst in the Tanglewood/Knoxdale area. She's a beautiful white longhaired cat with no major markings.
Please reach out if you've seen her or know her whereabouts. City of Ottawa is aware and her info has been shared in FB groups.

Our cat Pluszek has been missing since July 17th 2020. Pluszek is a 5 year old male with light beige/sand colored fur (he is a fawn tabby), yellow/amber eyes, a white mouth and white collar bone, four matching white paws and beige rings on his tail. Please let us know if you see him. Thank you.
ON MARCH 8 2021, a resident of Fairlea Park Housing Co-op (3019 Fairlea Crescent, Ottawa On) saw our cat. He was seen in this area in November 2020 and then in March 2021. He may still be in the area, so if you were to see him please let us know. Thank you.

Hello, my cat has been missing since November 21st. His name is Valentine, he wear a red collar (might have fallen off by now) and he is microchipped and neutered. He is an indoor/outdoor cat, but has never been out overnight before until November 21st. If anyone has seen him, please contact me at 613-617-2668, my sister and I are worried sick. Thank you all.

Orange and white cat. Found and taken in a couple of days ago. Been noticing the cat in the Centrepointe/Maple View area for months -- overnight and during the day. No microchip. No collar. Striped tail. Male. Not neutered. Appears well fed. Quite friendly.

Tonight at 9:30pm, a black and grey tabby was crying at our front door. It readily accepted food, water, and coming inside. Very friendly. If you live in the Manor Park East area and have lost your black and grey tabby, please contact me. Tomorrow (Thursday), I will take it to a vet for a chip scan. Following that, I will need to place it with a cat rescue.

Reward Offered if Returned
My Bengal Kali had been in the care of my Mother-in-law (long story short, she didn't get along with my other cat in our small home) for several years (she lives on Normandy Crescent). In August, her teenage grandkids were watching the house while she was camping, and Kali disappeared.
These are older photos from when she still lived with us (around 2015-2017). She had gained a lot of weight since then (mainly around her belly), but her face and colour are the same. She is VERY talkative. She's about 12 years old, spayed. She is microchipped. She was never supposed to be an outdoor cat, but my MiL would let her out around the yard (presumably that's how/when she got away when the grandkids were there). She never kept a collar on her.
She was last seen at my Mother-in-law's home (Normandy at Fisher near Prince of Wales in Nepean) in mid August.

Reliable and loving pet walker. I've taken care of dogs and cats since my childhood. I have a lot of experience with my pets - almost every period of my life I had dogs or/and cats. Today I'm the loving owner of nice and adorable beagle girl (vaccinated and sterilised). She loves jogging with me in the mornings. I've often pet-sitting for friends and relatives.
I'm looking for couple more dogs to walk in my area (Riverside park, Alta Vista, Heron road).
The pet safety is my #1 priority. Dogs will be always on leash during walks and only dogs from the same household will be walked at one time. I can offer as long athletic walks to burn energy as visits to your home for taking care of cats.
