Up for your consideration is our pure Barnevelder named Miss Bella! I get a kick out of this lady! She has such a quirky personality in addition to being very beautiful! Bella is a heavy bird and lays a gorgeous brown/pink egg, sometimes it's solid pink, other times it's blush brown covered in beautiful speckles. We are heavily downsizing in preparation for this years breeding program and hatch. I would love for Bella to find another flock to contribute to.
We hand raise our chicks, so Bella is friendly and docile. She isn't quite as affectionate as some of our other birds, but she makes up for that with her goofy temperament. She is just finishing up with her molt and tends to resume laying early to mid March.
I will add pictures tomorrow as the ones I took this evening are too dark.
