The goal is to raise enough money so I can bring people to an environment that would help heal or at least show those in need that there is beauty in this world, when they only see the darkness the world brought upon them. Kid's and adults. The profit part is to help pay for the people that need help to get to a place such as this or for those who don't even realize that an experience like this can be a life changing moment. I've always said if I ever won the lottery I would buy a lodge for those in need, not singling out any type of person, and help them forget and rediscover the beauty of our world, but I don't play the lottery. MY hole life I have persevered through what life has thrown at me, being abused as a child, the divorce of my parents as a young child, having to help take care of my younger siblings as my father worked odd hours and shifts to provide, the deaths of my god children and grand mother in a house fire and many injuries.
I have so much passion burning inside me for my dream I just couldn't take it anymore, so I'm reaching out to you all. I'm always saying my dream job would be to make the lives of someone who needs a restart or to help them forget about life's pain, whether a person was abused or is sick or has an addiction it doesn't matter to me I will put a smile on a face that hasn't smiled in a while, I just wants to show a person life can be good, the outdoors is a great healer as it has helped myself, so I know first hand.
I am not looking for a free ride I is willing to put his life savings to accomplish this goal, and my goal is to help someone heal from the heart, even when I was hurting on the inside I was always smiling they call me smiley because I want to make others smile.
I have given my heart , soul, blood and my health to my all employers . I have helped build Hospitals, schools, our government buildings our work places and even our homes for decades and am so proud to have contributed to society and never wanting any glory.
I literally feel other peoples pain, on so many occasions I feel it in my body when someone is hurting or feels pain, or when injured, I shed tears for those I feel merciful for, whether its in person or even on t.v.
My mother was a missionary she travelled to countries when they had disasters to help the needy, I know I have her gift of wanting to help others.
I love wild life and taking pictures of outdoor scenery, for every donation I will try to give a digital picture that I have taken for you to use at your will through an email or other
Please help us to help someone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my dream.

We are conducting an online research study to better understand how social distancing is impacting people’s mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. While isolated from others, many people are using smartphones to keep in touch and engage with others. With the use of a special app, we can begin to understand how people are saying socially connected through calling, messaging, and app usage. Understanding healthy social behaviour during the pandemic can help minimize the negative consequences of social distancing. We are looking for people to join our study!
Who can Participate? We are looking for people who are ages 15 and older to participate in the study. You do not need to be diagnosed with a mental disorder to participate in the study. Everyone is welcome!
Will you be reimbursed for your time? Participants will receive $40 for filling out the questionnaires and working with our app for one month. We will ask participants to fill out questionnaires again after three months. So, if you complete the study you will receive $60.
Please register using the following link, so that we can send you more information about what it will mean to take part in the current research study: ww.covid19-prosit.info
A staff member from our research team is available to answer any questions you have about the study at our toll-free number 1-833-905-0314 or by email at PROSIT@iwk.nshealth.ca

Navicare/SoinsNavi is a patient navigation centre for children and youth with health care needs and their families in New Brunswick. A key component of the centre is our patient and family advisory council (PFAC), which consists of 7 volunteer members who advise the patient navigator and research team, as well as collaborates on special projects that arise from discussions with key stakeholders. Examples of projects led by the PFAC include a Journey Map, which is a visual aid developed to assist families with navigating the system from the moment of diagnosis; peer support videos that share stories about navigating the system; and a workshop for care providers and other caregivers of children with health care needs. PFAC members are often invited to participate in other related workshops, public outreach events, and conferences.
NaviCare/SoinsNavi is looking for a dynamic individual to join the PFAC. The position is a one (1) year renewable term beginning January 4, 2020. We are seeking someone with significant lived experience receiving services within the healthcare system as a youth with health needs, or as a parent, guardian, or other involved family member. The PFAC meets monthly in a virtual setting along with an in-person annual meeting in the spring.
If you are interested in becoming part of the PFAC, or know someone who would be a good fit, please reach out to cric@unb.ca. We look forward to hearing from you.

How has the pandemic impacted your health and wellbeing? What has been helpful and what has not been helpful for your mental health?
Researchers from the University of Victoria are participating in a global collaboration to study the psychological impact of the pandemic and lockdown. We are asking people to complete a short questionnaire to better understand how the pandemic is affecting us all and its impact on our day to day lifestyle. We hope to find out what is helpful for people during this time and also what may be causing some people to be affected more than others in terms of their wellbeing.
Can you spare 15 minutes to help? Even if you filled out the 1st wave of this survey (Aug - Oct 2020), please also fill out this NEW 2nd WAVE of our survey! Click on the link to the questionnaire for more information: https://bit.ly/3828qkJ or scan the QR code.

You can create new posts and/or comment on the posts of others. If you volunteer to participate, you will be contacted by a researcher to help you set up an account and get comfortable navigating the blog.
