RCI – is a point’s based system where you receive 10,000 points annually and can purchase as many points as you want for $0.02 per point. RCI is the biggest exchange system (timeshare) in the world, they have 4,000 resorts worldwide and you can book them using your points. The nice thing about points is that you are not limited to only booking a week; you can book individual days all the way up to 21 nights for one transaction fee. You can log onto their system at www.rci.com or call them at 1-877-968-7476.
7Across – is another exchange system, however they trade a week for a week. How you would do that is book a week through RCI at Paradise Canyon (recommend November week). Now that you own a physical week at your home resort you can trade it with 7Across and they give you a week that can be booked anytime of the year and is good for 3 years. Every night was a theme night, and a wonderful night out...VERY ROMANTIC! The days are filled with activities and games...you can watch or participate...but VERY entertaining. The entertainment staff is incredible. We didn’t stop laughing the entire week! We participated in and even won some games. We loved beach volleyball, tequila volleyball, the pageants, the iron man competition, battle of the sexes, couples trivia, music and movie trivia, daring darts, and numerous other activities. Never a dull moment! Even though this is ADULT ONLY and ADULT THEMES, we found it very comfortable. Not everyone is topless but if you chose to go topless it is not a big deal as everyone is very comfortable. The resort is very classy. We are NEVER bored and we have so much fun! Easy access to the clubs and nightlife (Coco Bongo, Senior Frogs, The City), but there is so much fun at Temptation that you probably won't want to leave!

Le condo est situé « Centro » donc près de tout. Ex; 3 minutes à pied du Walmart et de tous les restaurants qui ne coûtent pas les yeux de la tête comme sur la cinquième. This is a very well-designed attractive villa. There is great attention to detail in both the furnishings and layout. We were both impressed by the tasteful decorative touches from the dried flowers to tile mosaics on the walls. An example of the design is the large built in closets in the upstairs bedrooms. I have never stayed in a rental with as much closet and drawer space. The property was extremely clean and well-maintained. The beds were all comfortable. The villa is spacious both in the grounds and inside. Where some may have been tempted to have 4 or 5 bedrooms, the 3 good sized bedroom and large living areas given a certain dignity and sense of spaciousness. The kitchen was well equipped as far as pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. The appliances all worked.
There was a beautiful view of the valley from this hillside location from both inside the villa and the outside terraces and pool deck. One can see Alvor, Lagos and Portimao along the coast and amazing twinkling lights at night time. The villa and around the pool deck is very private. The villa is set well back from the road down a steep dead end lane and so no passing traffic. The location gives a sense of peacefulness.
We walked into the lovely town of Monchique a few times and also ate at the nice restaurant at the top of the lane - O Luar da Foia, rated highly in Tripadvisor. You need to be reasonably fit given the road is steep. Monchique has a large modern InterMarche supermarket and some smaller grocery stores and butcher shops. There are also a number of pleasant cafes. There is a large shopping mall in Portimao. A car is recommended. If you have one, the villa makes a good base for exploring the region.
The west coast is about 30 min away by secondary road, while Portimao and the A22 main tollway is about 15 min south. We went as far as Odeceixe in the north west. Despite the weather during or stay in November, we were able to use the pool a bit when the sun was shining. We would not hesitate to rent from Nigel again. He was easy to deal with and extremely responsive to any questions. Given its high quality, the villa is a real bargain in the low and shoulder season. Highly recommend it.-TripAdvisor

Hotel Casa Guadalupe in Tulum is tucked away in the secure La Valeta neighbourhood. Its location is second to none in the area. There’s world class dining options, atm, pharmacy and much more within a few minutes on foot. The area is full of boutique hotels but ours is one of few with a pool that spans wider than most city lots (approx 40’x20’). Our common garden courtyard area is full of palms and has several Palapas for your morning coffee by the pool.
Tulum is central to countless Cenotes and the beach is only a short 5 min drive to the hotel district with access via several restaurants. There’s excellent wifi, drinking water, and the whole place is gated for added security.
Tulum is different than Cancun or Playa Del Carmen in that the beach is part of the National Park and all of the beach front properties are Ejido Land (similar to reserve land). For this reason the hotels in this district charge exhorbitant prices to account for their leases (as opposed to fee simple ownership) - usually around $1000/night.
The units have everything you can expect. There are 12 units in the complex - perfect for groups or family gatherings. The place is ultra clean and in good order with our on site maintenance staff Oswaldo and his wife Leydi.
On booking we will share some travel tips to make the most of experiencing Tulum outside of the all inclusive world.
Tulum has a brand new airport but most fly to Cancun and cab it.

It offers everything.... delicious food, hiking, swimming, relaxing, skiing (in the winter), and many outdoor activities, shopping in breathtaking cities, markets, and other attraction not to far away.
Beautiful cozy private cottage with 2 sleeping areas, 1 bathroom, kitchen.Next airport would be Milan (1.5 hour) /Zuerich (2.5 hour). From there you can rent a car or go by bus.
