Responsibilities: Tasks, Handling animals, Monitor the calving process, Monitoring animal health, Perform animal grooming activities, Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, Track and report on current feed inventory, Weaning, Fertilize and spray crops, Harvest crops, Feed and tend animals, Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, Maintain livestock performance records, Milk cows, Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens, Maintain work records and logs, Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry, Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market, Write daily basic progress reports, Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
Experience and specialization: Equipment and machinery experience, Feeding and watering system, Fertilizer applicator, Milking system (automated), Seed drill, Sprayer or duster, Storage and silage system, Tractor, Combine harvester, Farm truck, Forage equipment, Haying equipment, Lift truck, Loader, Manure spreader, Planting equipment, Swather, Tillage equipment
