Job Overview Position: Farm Labourer – Harvesting
Employer: Eastern Farms Ltd Location: Pownal, PE (C1B 3S5)
Worksite: On‑site only; no remote option Employment
Type: Seasonal, full‑time Start Date: August 3, 2026 End Date: December 15, 2026
Vacancies: 8 positions Salary: $17/hour, 40–70 hours per week (minimum wage guaranteed)
Work Environment Outdoors, all weather conditions Confined spaces, heights, dusty, noisy, odours Hot or cold/refrigerated areas Dirty environments Rural setting ️
Key Responsibilities Grade fruits and vegetables by size, shape, colour, and volume Pack and sort produce
Write basic daily progress reports Clean work areas Harvest crops Load/unload and transfer crates, supplies Physical & Work Requirements Ability to work independently Fast‑paced, repetitive tasks Work under pressure and tight deadlines Handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs) Physically demanding: standing long periods, bending, crouching, kneeling Manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Sounds
