Charleston Lake is located in South Eastern Ontario, just north east of Gananoque. The lake is carved out of the Frontenac Axis, a relatively narrow extension of the Canadian Shield bedrock which dominates the landscape of Northern Ontario. The lake is the principal watershed for the Gananoque River, and boasts prime fishing locations. Charleston Lake Provincial Park is located on the shores of the lake, and offers camping, hiking, boating, fishing and interpretive sessions.
Charleston Lake has over 100 miles of shoreline and over 100 islands with over 800 summer and permanent residences on the lake. The water surface is 26.2 km2, and the maximum depth is 91.1 m. A naturally occurring rock and tree formation shows a profile of the guardian of Charleston Lake known as Indian Head. Other than Charleston Lake Provincial Park, the County Park and Sand Bay are excellent destinations for day trips.
Boats, Canoes and Kayaks are not included but you are welcome to bring your own, or rent a boat from either marina in Charleston Village.

For rent, a two bedroom water front cottage available for the 2026 weeks of Aug 22nd to Aug 29th, and Aug 29th to Sept 5th (rentals are by the week Saturday to Saturday). The two bedroom cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with a double bed (cottage sleeps a total of 4).
The cottage is located on Crow Lake (between Sharbot and Bobs Lakes) and is approx 1.5 hrs from downtown Ottawa, 20 minutes from Westport, 35 minutes from Perth, and 60 minutes from Kingston. The cottage is south facing and has a stunning view of Crow Lake which is a deep 5 Km long spring fed lake considered one of the best lakes in Ontario for its clean/clear water with excellent swimming and fishing (boats can access Bobs Lake from Crow Lake).
This vacation spot is ideal for a couple or a family with younger children looking to experience kayaking, canoeing, boating, campfires, and the sand beach.
This well maintained cottage has hot and cold running water, flush toilet, shower, fully equipped kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, utensils), barbecue (propane supplied), fire pit, docks, kayaks, and a canoe. Your smaller well behaved pet is welcome to join you for your stay.

Memory Lane Campground and RV Park provides a quiet and relaxing getaway close to Edmonton, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Morinville and surrounding areas to the north.
We have large full service accessible sites (PWS) with either 30 amp or 50 amp power and Edmonton water. We are a gated community and small pet friendly. There is a stocked trout pond to challenge your fishing skills,. It is catch and release or purchase per fish. Check out the new bucket golf game for challenge and fun. Hiking trails are maintained and the view of the countryside is outstanding. Wild animals such as deer, coyotes , fox and the odd moose can be observed wandering the fields. There are birds in abundance and the redwing blackbirds will let you know you are getting close to their nests.
We are reasonably priced. Our season runs May 1st to September 30, depending on the weather. The small camp store offers ice, camp essentials and propane. Annual sites as well as short term sites with daily, weekly, monthly and annual rates available. Workers are invited to enjoy quiet space with some area for parking equipment. A private boat in residence Just 20 minutes from the Manitoba/Ontario Boarder Turtle bay is a peaceful and quaint island getaway located on in the Clearwater Bay District on the renowned waters of Ontario’s breathtaking Lake of The Woods. The location is ideal and one of a kind in the fact that you are minutes by boat from the Clearwater bay government landing and in the heart of world class fishing of all species of fish. The property location is facing south west, and Turtle Bay itself is 1 mile long by 1/2 mile wide. There are 6 private residences in the bay with our own personal cabin located on the adjacent property to Turtle Bay vacation rental.
