Utilizing modern farming equipment and technology, we grow oilseeds, peas, wheat and barley.We are seeking an experienced full time farm laborer for a permanent position immediately. We are seeking someone who has experience and passion for agriculture!
THE POSITION
The ideal candidate is responsible for various field operations, maintaining, fixing and cleaning equipment and yard site maintenance. This includes all aspects of the farming operation with involvement in grain, yard, seeding and harvest operations, including day-to-day organization of tasks and experience using GPS technology.QUALIFICATION
- An agricultural background or experience is a definite asset
- Have a valid driver's license with own transportation
- Class 1A preferred
- Knowledge of farm equipment
- Good mechanical skills and welding experience an asset
- Good physical health
- Lift moderately heavy loads
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, and stand for long periods of time
- Hard working + a self starter and Identifies additional tasks to be completed
- Punctual
- Good at communicating and following instructions
