Responsibilities
The Software Developer is responsible for developing one or more parts of application systems (systems of engagement and/or systems of record) and integration with other systems, including designing it to fit into the architecture, prototyping the user interface, implementing, unit-testing, and integrating the components that are part of the solution. The Software Developer is typically assigned to work with occasional stretch targets of higher complexity of work. This position fully participates in activities that support the team’s delivery and continuous improvement through assisting other roles with their work, mentoring and promoting a respectful and collaborative culture.
Qualifications
-Bachelor degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and 0-3 years of equivalent work experience in IT including one co-op term doing software development as part of an agile project.
-Relevant work experience with agile methodologies, cloud and/or DevOps environments involving development and unit testing is a definite asset.
-C# , experience with creating APIs and web-based applications.
-Azure architecture knowledge, and experience with azure functions, app services, storage accounts, and queues
-Experience with Microsoft Stack with technologies and frameworks like .Net, C#, JavaScript, SQL, JQuery, Angular 6 and up, HTML, CSS, XUnit, NUnit, Entity Framework, TDD, Regis Cache, Git.
-Experience with creating APIs and web-based applications.
-Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification like SAFe Practitioner, or willingness to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement of work
-Able to comply with Employee and Contractor Mandatory Vaccine Policy
