They are responsible for budget, personnel, and project planning to make sure the project is completed on time and within scope. Your main tasks will include:Delivering clean technology solutions within a collaborative and innovative work culture. You will drive projects forward while employing your technical and teaming skills.Managing the project lifecycle:Working with Chemical, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers to produce work packages for production.Complete research and qualification on new vendors and products.Working with suppliers and vendors to design and specify components used within our processes (pumps, valves, motors, filters, etc.).Supporting our internal Supply Chain and Production teams to enable product delivery.Working with our Quality Assurance team to ensure quality control processes are being followed.Supporting commissioning at our factory and the customer site.Implementing repeatable designs (full scale) while improving our innovative industrial desalination and resource recovery plants with opportunities to also support innovation, pilots, and new product design.Opportunities to become a subject matter expert, enabling you to keep and expand technical skills while also developing project management skills.Representing Saltworks with customers and suppliers, including field visits to both (ability to travel to the USA is important). You will be a great fit if you have:A relevant engineering degree or diploma and ability to register as a P. Eng. with EGBC.2-8 years of relevant working experience as an engineer or designer in an industrial setting.Track record of generating engineering deliverables in a fast-paced, industrial environment.Working knowledge and experience with specific areas of the engineering discipline, such as ASME, B31.1, pressure piping design, heat exchangers, pumps, etc. This position also requires these universal skill sets:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain a high quality of work and quickly learn new skills.Impeccable attention to detail and a sense of urgency in completing projects on time.Ability to work well in a team-focused environment, meeting deadlines with a quality work product.Positive attitude, can-do approach, and willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in as required.Hands-on tooling and troubleshooting skills (not essential, yet beneficial if you like this type of work).Bonus: experience working with SolidWorks 3D design software or AutoCAD P&ID. We are looking for Roofing Installer and Roofing Labourer positions for full time employment.
Wage range from $27-$50/hr. (Salary scale commensurate with qualifications and experience)
Responsibilities:
Site mobilization;
Stripping and disposing of old roof,
Loading and unloading material;
Job site clean-up.
Installing, repairing or replacing a variety of roofing systems
Skills/Qualifications:
Must be a team player who is dependable and reliable
Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced, high energy environment on the roof
Weight handling can be over 50lbs
On site work environment is outdoors and subjected to all weather conditions.
Work environment is on the roof and/or on the grounds that are dusty and noisy
