Job Title: Delivery Driver for Purolator Small Packages
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team for delivering small packages for Purolator. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages to our customers while providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate your own van or SUV to deliver packages to designated locations.
- Load and unload packages from your vehicle, ensuring they are handled with care.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking and reporting any issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
Requirements:
- Must have your own van or SUV in good working condition.
- Valid Class 5/G license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2-3 months of delivery experience preferred.
- Full-time availability, including the ability to work flexible hours.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Compensation:
- Pay rate of $2.50 per stop.
- Average of 80-100 packages per day, with the potential to exceed 130-140 packages per day based on performance.
- Biweekly pay schedule.
