Hello everyone, I’m making the hardest decision to rehome my two chinchillas, Pickles and Charlie. We’ve had them for nearly 8 years now, so it’s a really tough decision to let them go, but unfortunately at our current situation, we’re unable to provide them with the care they need and deserve.
They are bonded and have shared the majority of their lives together, so please do not seperate them.
Included will be most of what they need: Critter Nation Cage, oxbow pellets, timothy hay, hides, ledges, a dust bath house, food bowl, bedding, etc. (wooden hides and ledges should be replaced, they’re pretty worn out from chewing)
Chinchillas are not for everyone, they are high maintenance animals who cannot be caged everyday and require lots of exercise out of the cage. They are not cuddly, but will tolerate minimal petting and holding.
We are hoping to find an experienced chinchilla owner or someone who is very knowledgeable. Please do extensive research as these animals are very fragile.
