Anyone want to jam some of the classic Clapton, Hendrix, R Ford, Larry Carlton, Allman Brothers?
Originals come easy for me or stretching out on blues/smooth contemporary jazz motifs.
Be easy to do some bar rat tunes with class and promote creativity within...perhaps some Four Play, Benson, or Al DiMeola pieces ... work with charts .... study together to grow our abilities..... you are out there somewhere ... this side of Detroit ...

Good evening, Despite in-person lessons are much better, I'm offering online sessions as well. Look forward to talking with you!
My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home. My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay. Feel free to respond to this ad, call or text: 647-294-0493. (I'm quite busy, if you text the instrument you wish to learn, I'll call as soon as I'm available)
Thanks for reading, I hope we chat soon! "Music is the mediator between the spiritual and sensual life" - Ludwig Van Beethoven.

Am looking for musicians to start a band like the smashing pumpkins like a alternative rock grunge type band but I still have it in my own style not exactly a copy just identical I noticed my style sounds similar so I have compared I need a drummer a bass play and lead guitar play all the best slots are open I would like to do rhythm and lead singing don't need any other singer
Band name? Simple town
But open to suggestions since that's kinda like simple plan so brainstorm and I want to be taken seriously maybe we can dish up some music lessons as a group we all have to do our homework
Let's get this band started right my mom can do our photography I bought her a camera I also have one
Open to ages 18 and 50 as those are the ages I feel comfortable with
I'll give you your space and I won't bother you ill be sincere as I want a healthy band
If you do flow to the style you will have to rewrite
Sarnia Ontario area but willing to except anywhere in ontario as that's about the distance I could travel before things get to expensive
Oh and we will be budgeting our money to go on shopping days all for the right gear so someone with wheels would be appreciated so we could travel to many music stores
If it's possible we could learn our lady peace songs and the smashing pumpkins songs as I can mimic those vocals
I'm not the greatest at learning other people songs but if you where to help me maybe we could do all kinds of covers
Again sarnia area or in ontario if not maybe we could all relocate to the same city or even pitch in to rent a house I can only manage 700 for rent and that's still alot to me
I've include just a rough draft of a song with the vocals I'll use I like lyrics to rhyme alot and also not rhyme at some points idk depends how the song goes but they turn out great I also got other songs like that like 20 of them some not so great but still clicks with the mind

Into making emo music having some troubles lately I am looking to play lead emo screamo but not sure about the screamo part as I doubt I would find the right screamer for the job it's hard to have a perfect sound going to practice guitar alot to hopefully get as good as I use to be when making songs have no samples to show would like serious folks only like basically music genius that knows how to construct the same sound and not something entirely different when jamming together also going to do alot of drum practice although I doubt it would make me any better I'm just trying to gain control of the sticks better

Hi there. I have been thinking for some time to join with or create a cover band. I sing from time to time, nothing serious, but wanted to see about joining with or creating a band with some likeminded individuals into (roughly) the same music as me. I have my own instruments.
I suppose the intent would be to get together and jam every now and then and if feeling comfortable to even play the odd live gig one day. I mean why not. Looking for a group of talented musicians (drummer, bass, guitar, maybe even keyboard) that play together and could use a vocalist. I play a little guitar too.
Obviously this would be for fun/a hobby as I work full time but if this is something that interests you reach out to me and let's see if we can get this going! Cheers.

Hi, I am a mid 20's Heavy metal rock/singer and Guitarist. looking for another lead guitarist and drummer and possibly keyboardist for this Epic band. Band name is Psylla. Little bit of my background- was a drummer/backup vocals for Powerhouse (known as dead engine city now) for almost a decade. Been playing guitar for a decade now and been singing for a long time. Right now I do have some originals that are 7 string based so please if you aren't willing to learn 7 string or tune your 6 string guitar down to B standard I am not sure how it would work. Drummers need to be able to play double bass for sure. The covers we play or could play come from a wide variety of metal/rock music including but not limited to guns n roses, pantera, ozzy, judas priest, journey, queensyche and several others. My vocals are generally in the higher octaves as that is my strong suit. I used to be heavy in the music scene and I'M BACK! We can play covers but once we are familiar with a set of covers then the writing begins. The more we write, the more covers we can sub out for originals. I would like to practice at least once a week. I do have a heated year round shop to practice in. I write a lot in guitar pro so please get familiar with the wonders of the program as it is a very versatile tool to my engagement of writing. If you aren't familiar don't panic- I will teach you.
Message me if you are interested in a position and we can set up some times to jam or audition. Thanks! Text cell is easier for communication.

Cheers.
