The online course, Westerns: A Study in the Film Genre, is your chance to gain a deeper understanding of the Western film genre and a college-level credit. Open to Canadian, US and international students everywhere, this Winter 2024 term course is divided into themes such as History of the Western, Landscape and Setting, Actors, Directors, Indigenous Peoples, and Women. Film review choices include those by director Quentin Tarantino and newly-released Westerns!

  Offered by Lambton College, Westerns: A Study in the Film Genre runs for a total of 14 weeks. The Sault College-hosted course starts January 16th with registration open until January 30th - it can be completed by email via conedregistration@saultcollege.ca or toll-free at 1-800-461-2260.
