Westerns - Online College Credit

Like movies? Need a college credit? The Sault College online course, Westerns: A Study in the Film Genre, is your chance to gain a deeper understanding of the Western film genre and a college-level credit. Open to Canadian, US and international students everywhere, this Spring 2023 term course is divided into themes such as History of the Western, Landscape and Setting, Actors, Directors, Indigenous Peoples, and Women. Film review choices include those by director Quentin Tarantino and newly-released Westerns!
Westerns: A Study in the Film Genre runs for a total of 14 weeks and offers a range of Western films as the basis for assignments and online discussion. The course starts May 9th with registration open until May 23rd - it can be completed by email via conedregistration@saultcollege.ca or toll-free at 1-800-461-2260. Lambton students can register directly with the Online Education office at the college!
