As a senior guy of modest, but comfortable and adequate means, I continue to be blessed with so many great long term friends, neighbours, and so far life long passions. Rec Hockey tournament Saturday January 27th out in Vanscoy Sk.
15 min drive from Saskatoon for any teams that are traveling.
This is just a fun REC hockey tournamnet. 2 25 min periods each game, Mens or Womans teams are welcome.. players must be 19+
Each team is guaranteed to play 3 games.
Team fee is 350$ No slaps and no contact. There will be a shootout after each game for a case of beer to the winning team of the shootout.
Penaltys will be called as penalty shots during the game..

It’s back – G4G Regina’s popular Fabric, Yarn and More sale! During April 2024, we will be collecting, sorting, and preparing for the sale – all in the same space. The attached poster has the details you need, complete with donation drop off dates and location, and when the time comes, the dates for the sale itself in that same location.
We heard you! We have had so many enquiries about when we’re holding another sale. It has taken a while to make the arrangements, and now we are moving forward.
The grandmothers of sub-Saharan Africa continue to face inequalities and injustice. They want and deserve better for themselves, for their grandchildren, and for their communities. They are not asking for charity, for pity, nor for favours. Access to health care, protection from violence, political representation, food security and shelter are their human rights, and they have come to claim them!
Please think about collecting any unused fabric, yarn, and notions you may have, and when April comes, you will be able to drop off your donations. Our volunteers will be waiting. The SALE will be April 26th and 27th at St James United Church where you can attend the sale to replenish your supply and support the Grandmothers of Africa!
