Job Requirements Checklist
Logbook Compliance: Must know how to operate an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) to track Hours of Service (HOS) according to federal highway regulations. (Alternatively: Willing to undergo immediate training upon hire).
Load Securement: Must be fully competent in loading and unloading a commercial moving truck. This includes balancing the weight evenly across the axles and using logistics straps to tie down cargo safely so nothing shifts during transit.
Physical Strength & Heavy Lifting: Must be in excellent physical condition and capable of safely lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy household goods (including large furniture and major appliances) over extended periods.
Item Protection & Prep: Must be proficient in professional packing techniques, specifically the proper use of shrink wrap and moving tapes to protect fragile finishes, secure blanket padding, and wrap upholstery against dirt or damage.
