This person will help operate the seed plant with color sorter and perform maintenance on equipment in our shop through the winter months. During the spring summer and fall months this person will operate equipment or if they have their 1A licence drive truck. As we are seed growers this person must not be allergic to dust as we are always cleaning out equipment, bins, augers, trucks, etc in order to ensure we do not mix varieties and have high quality seed to sell to our customers. Therefore, this person must be detail oriented, be able to work well with other employees and customers. Having some mechanical skills, previous farm equipment operator experience, or a 1A licence would be an asset but not essential. If you like to do the same thing everyday then this job is probably not for you, but if you like to be challenged, learn new things and work with a great team then consider Fraser Seed Farm for your new long term career path.
Please forward resume or any questions to Shawn Frsser at foc@sasktel.net.
