Assist WRA manager in overseeing all events for the season
These events include Canada Day celebrations: pancake breakfast, parade, outdoor entertainment, cabaret, Children's Festival, Other cabarets and the Waskesiu Lakeside Music Festival
- Booking entertainment for events including the set up and take down of event spaces
-Develope and promote events through social media, on site, word of mouth and posters
- Purchase items for events within the budget.
- Recruit staff members and volunteers to help with events.
· Respond to patrons; problem solve and advise Manager
· Setup and teardown of tables, chairs, equipment and supplies
· Coordinate facility and equipment rentals when not working on event planning
· Assist Manager and WRA Events Committee
· Hold Class 5 license
· Perform other duties as assigned
