Hello, we are selling our alexandrine parrot because we are moving and unfortunately do not have room to take her with us. She has a fun personality but will take time getting used to. Alexandrine parrots are sometimes noisy so keep in mind. She does not say any words but makes sounds as if trying to talk. She is 5 years old. Her cage is heavy duty, sturdy, comes with toys, water bowls, removable trays, perches and all. She eats Zupreem fruit pellets which we have a bag full of. Enjoys fruits and vegetables. Also loved sunflower seeds and dried nuts, etc. We got her wings clipped last year but have not gotten them clipped recently. She will fly to you if you’re on the couch, not great with other pets or birds because she’s a little timid. Will take time getting used to other people. She bonds to family members who live in the house. She will dance, wave hello and kiss for treats. Does not poop everywhere, only in the cage. Unless frightened a lot. $1200 obo because we need someone serious to take care of her. Her cage was $400. If you really put time into it, I believe she will learn to speak.
