* Proven experience as a mechanic or similar role
* Test, adjust and troubleshoot components
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Boats, Outboard, Inboard motors equipment
* Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions
* Complete pre delivery inspections of outboards, inboards with accuracy and in a timely manner - Report any concerns to the Service Manager
* Conduct inspections and identify potential problems
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
* Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and software
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

Dock Hand: Would require to have experience in basic operations of boat/motor and ATV. This job can be physically demanding at time so must be able to lift heavy objects . Hours based on a 7 day work week at 50 hours weekly or 100 hours bi-weekly plus overtime and gratuities.
Fishing/Hunting guides: Would need experience in operating boat/motor, fishing, cooking shore lunches and should be very outgoing.
We do provide free room and board for all of our staff and laundry facilities available at no extra cost.

Pine Portage is a fly-in Lodge located about a half hour flight from Wawa, ON. and is now looking to fill the position of Breakfast/Salad Cook for our 2024 summer season. This position would require experience in breakfast grill cooking and preparation of a variety of Salads for evening meal. Lunch is prepared by both the Main Cook and Breakfast Cook for the staff and sometime the guests daily. We offer free room and board and Laundry facilities, satellite tv and WiFi . Hours are based on 7 days work week at 100 hours bi-weekly plus overtime and gratuities. All staff are required to stay on site and holidays will be scheduled throughout the summer. Wages will be based upon experience.

The Stress, Interpersonal Relationships and Health Lab (SIRH) is looking for couples in which at least one partner is trying to change their diet and/or physical activity habits. The main goal of this study is to investigate how different types of couples’ behaviors influence change in eating and physical activity behaviors over time.
Participation in our study involves completing questionnaires and participate in a discussion task.
Earn up to 100$ over 3-months for participating in this study.
