The MILITAIRES BRASS AND PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE formed in 2006 and based in NIAGARA FALLS are seeking experienced TRUMPET players for 2024. We take part in parades,local festivals and ,community events around the Niagara Region.
NOTE!! When taking part in Parades we DO NOT march but ride in style and comfort on our trailer.
Our group plays a wide range of popular professionally arranged music that gets the crowds dancing and singing along! But the BEST part is we have FUN doing it!!Rehearsals are held every Wednesday night (unless notified otherwise) from 700-900 pm at the 479 Legion 5603 SPRING St in Niagara Falls just off of Stanley Ave. We are located just 10 min. from the US Border Rainbow Bridge for anyone from the US wanting to join us.

Musicians wanted for smooth r&b, soul, funk, soft rock, chill project. Will be a casual project with the intention of occasional gigging. Will be covers. Looking to start or join a hard rock band for writing, performing, and recording (on a budget) original hard rock music. My main priority is artistic expression; writing and performing original music. We would also do limited, high quality covers to round out our set and keep the crowd entertained.
I have a drummer but we have been having a heck of a time finding a guitarist and vocalist. We are in our late 40s and looking for bandmates 30+
I play bass and contribute backing vocals. I mainly write on guitar.
I would like to find other folks with similar goals/ambitions, musical tastes, and availability, so please read the following and let me know if you think we match up well:
Goals:
I enjoy writing my own songs and contributing to writing and arranging others’ original compositions as well. I would place a high emphasis on other members contributing original ideas/songs as well.
I’d like to work toward eventually playing 1-2 gigs/month. Practices until then would ideally be 1x week.
We have some contacts in the industry and will be able to book gigs once the band is up and running.

Availability:
I am typically available all day/evening Friday-Sunday only, and maybe an occasional Thursday evening, as my work schedule permits.
I have a jam space with a modest PA at my place in midtown St. Catharines that we can use during my availability until about 8 or 9 PM. I’m able to meet later than that if we end up jamming elsewhere.
We are based in Niagara and would prefer same in potential bandmates. I don’t really want to travel outside Niagara for frequent practices.
Having your own equipment and reliable transportation would be helpful.
