Mini mare
Purchased for my kids, I have had her a few months. Due to no fault of her own I am offering her back up for sale. Asking what I paid.
I do not know much about this mare. She is a project. She came from Mennonites who were not gentle with her. She does need work desensetizing, she has been a doll so far, skittish but once caught leads well. She loads onto a trailer beautifully.
She is black with some chrome and blue eyes. She does need an experienced hand to work with her, or someone who is extremely confident in their ability to bring her around.
They attempted to hitch her to cart, and I believe that is the biggest thing, it must not have been a good experience at all.
I'm not sugar coating this mare, since I do not know her all that well.
I would like to see her go to a home that will work with her or leave her as a pasture pet. I truly believe she would come around to make a great kids mount but with a good amount of work.
I have not had her hooves done, they will need done at some point. I do not know her vaccination history, or her teeth history.
She is a very easy keeper, low in the pecking order, only gets hay and stays good and fat.
They could not tell me her age, but I am expecting she is around 12 or 13.
She is currently in Neustadt, Ontario but am hoping to trailer her to our new house in Mitchell, Ontario.
I only have a small section of an implement shed and some lawn, and the horses and pony deserve more than that.

Gorgeous flaxen chestnut mare. Will stick but should be 15 or 15.1 hands. Excellent build, clean legs. Minimal chrome
Excellent mare, she's a great mount and loyal mount. She is best off for a confident novice, or higher. She is not mean in any way, she has been out of work. Once back under saddle she would be great for a beginner or as a school barn mount.
This horse has done it all. A true all around horse. I purchased her as a long yearling, no training whatsoever. I worked extensively on her training. We followed a mix of parelli and cowboy training. She has shown for a decade or more in all classes. She has hundreds of ribbons and trophies, participated in the OYTT in halter and English classes.
This horse has never spooked, never reared, never bit, and never bolted. She has only ever thrown a buck once and that was after she was left out of work for 6 years. Once she got that very honest buck out there was no more nastiness ever. It couldve been a burr under the pad that day, or her showing her discontent with me leaving horses and letting her be out at pasture. Once she knows you'll be there, every day, and establish that trust and loyalty, you'll never have a problem with this mare.
I have had a C section just 12 weeks ago, and I have no issues getting on her, I am that confident in the honesty of this mare (note- Dr told me no riding as I could open up my scar and bleed out, but I will to show people the honesty of this mare)
She has shown games, pleasure classes, English classes from command to jumper 2ft 6in, and tottled in hunter classes, excelled in breed halter classes. She has thousands of hours on the trails. She does prefer a riding buddy, and loves the gelding i am also selling. She goes through water, overgrown bush, she's even participated in Hamilton, and Cambridge santa claus parades.
This mare will go to the moon and back for you. She does need someone who won't abandon her, because she builds a deep bond with who has her. She would work as a school mount once she's back under saddle.
Very sadly she has been out of work for a while. Due to no fault of her own, but due to pregnancies and surgeries on my end. I will be getting on her before she goes to her new home, and will update thus with how she does.
She has been on the family farm for 10 years, and prior to that was boarded. She is NOT up to date on shots or teeth. I am hoping to have a farrier out before she goes, or you can have your farrier do her and get to know her, she has been barefoot her whole life. She has been wormed regularly.Super easy keeper. Only needs grass or hay, does not require grain.
Only selling due to issues on my end financially. This horse is a dream horse, she will take you far in the show circuit, be a good mount for your kids, (my kids love her and the gelding too and have been on them on lead)
She would work well as a school horse if a schooling barn is looking for another mount.
The only thing I ask, is if she is to be sold in the future, I ask for notice to allow me to see if I can buy her back. I don't need any contracts, just a good person who understands the difficult decision of letting go of your horses.
This horse is my dream horse. It is absolutely tearing me apart to let this mare and my gelding go. Unfortunately though, with 2 kids under 2 years old, having these guys is not in the cards. I have had the horses over a decade. The horses are currently in Neustadt, Ontario. I am hoping to trailer them to our new house in Mitchell, Ontario.
I do not have pasture or land, just a small section in an implement shed and some lawn. These horses deserve better than that.
Both horses load and trailer like dreams. You can send them onto the trailer with no leads and without stepping up with them. Absolutely zero issues with trailering or picking up feet.

Small shetland mare, 13yrs old, 9hh, looking for her forever family.
Rosie has been used in our equine assisted learning program as well as in camps, for pony rides, and teaching little people all about horses. She has also been used by our special needs clients in assisting with mobility issues and being a special friend as well as doing local nursing home visits.
Has been off property to local schooling shows for lead line and was a rockstar both in the show and at the trailer for the entire day.
Only for sale as she sadly isn’t being used as everyone has moved on to bigger ponies. I can’t say enough good things about this girl. Very easy keeper, fantastic to trailer, for vet and farrier. UTD on feet, teeth and shots.
We were told she had foundered with previous owners but we keep her on a dry lot with hay and have had no issues.
Will be sad to see her go but I don’t want to see her wasting her talents sitting and getting fat being a pasture pet either.
Located outside of Harriston, ON.

14.1hh 4y/o buckskin grade QH gelding for sale.
Incredibly loving and kind horse. Does take time and a gentle approach to earn his trust, but once you have it he is very in your pocket.
Has had his feet done since these photos, and that helped his leg position immensely.
He is not yet backed, however has accepted tack without issue, as well as weight laid across his back.
Truly, this horse is an incredible little guy who has super cute movement and would thrive as a reiner, cow horse or even a hunter/jumper.
Our circumstances have evolved since bringing him home and I don't want his talent and sweet personality to be wasted here.
Asking $3200 - Located near Listowel, ON
Looking forward to speaking with you!

Project mare with potential to go in any direction! Coming 7 yr old, 15.1 hh, Gypsy Vanner Quarter Horse X mare is looking for her very own experienced confident person. She is UTD on shots and feet. Has phenomenal ground manners!
We got her in the fall to be used in our Equine Assisted Learning program but I think she would be better suited for one individual person vs multiple people..
She is very green broke with apparently 60days training for both riding and ground driving right before we got her. She would definitely benefit from an experienced individual who can show her the ropes and challenge her. I can see her going in any direction.
Asking 4500
