The more I thought about doing this post - the less I wanted to do it. But I’m out of options and this is my “Hail Mary”. ( more like a last resort that probably no one will respond to.
So I broke up with my toxic bf . And even the ought I was able to get my name on the place we lived in.
I was informed today that he left without telling me that he hasn’t been paying the rent.
And we’re behind on that. Not only that but he was not paying the gas and electric bill. The gas I was able to work with the company and my worker ( yes ; I’m on odsp for many health complications). I digress- I was able to work the gas bill out. But the electric bill was wayyy further behind.
So come next Friday: they will be shutting off my electricity. I am a single woman of one son. ( I posted a pic above of us ).
Unless i can pay them 150$ by Friday. It will be shut off ..
if anyone can find it in their heart to help me during a time in my life where I had to make really tough choices.
Now that I’m free - I just wanna move on.
I’m embarrassed & it kills my pride to post this but idk what else to do…
Plz msg me

This event is for experienced line dancers, with at least 1 year experience. Would you like to “Come Dance With Us?” As “Another Year Bites the Dust” we start planning for 2023 and select all the line dance events we would like to attend. “Tell the World” that you are attending Nickel City Line Dance Classic (NCLDC) – Let’s Dance Again! “Where Oh Where” is that located? Sudbury, Ontario, Canada of course! This will be our 11th year hosting this workshop (can’t call it “annual” anymore due to COVID) and Northern Ontario’s Only Line Dance Event charged with excitement! We can’t compete with the larger events, but we have fun just the same! After COVID, we need to meet and dance together again, and if you have never joined us in the past, then this will be the year to do it - you won’t be disappointed!
Our guest instructor will be Zandra McCallum from Burlington, ON, and of course our local instructors – “Pete” Vincent-Schroeder, Marthe Thibeault, Colette Proulx and Carol Larocque. Your playlist for the evening dance is decided by you, the dancers! Please ensure that you submit your requests, as the playlist will only be as good as the requests received.
Same venue as in the past – Polish Combatant Hall, with very nice hardwood flooring, and a stage so you can see the instructors’ feet!
Instruction will happen from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with an hour taken for lunch (included in your registration cost). Supper hour break (on your own) will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Doors will re-open at 7:15 p.m. and it will be up to you to be ready to “Dance Without a Partner”!!!
Our charity of choice will be the Blue Door Soup Kitchen, which relies solely on donations, as they do not receive funding of any kind. Door prizes are given out at lunch time. 50/50 draw will take place at 4:10 p.m. Cost: Early Bird - $55, after July 1/23 - $65.
Come join us – we’ll save a place for you on the dancefloor! There are no strangers here – only friends we haven’t met yet!
For more information or flyer and registration forms, visit Dancin’ Feet in Motion – www.dancinfeetinmotion.ca – NCLDC 2023 tab. Also listed in that same tab are recommended hotels and restaurants for your dining pleasure, and directions from your hotel to the hall.

Hi there, I'm Alex. I'll start off by saying I'm a transgender woman so if you're not cool with that you won't like me lol. I just moved back to Sudbury after being away for 7 years and would love to start a band!
I've been playing drums for 17 years and have experience writing, recording and performing live. I also love to sing and have always wanted to front a band.
I listen to a wide variety of music but punk is my love. I'm a big fan of bands like descendents, nofx, bad religion, the offspring, etc when it comes to more traditional punk. I'm also into a lot of the newer pop/punk/indy stuff like pup, Joyce manor, microwave, Jeff Rosenstock etc.
If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you!

Looking for people who would be interested in putting together a Outlaw Country/Country Rock project together. Not really interested in playing the stuff that is on mainstream radio. Check out some of the Red Dirt Scene groups for reference. I am a laid back easy going person who doesn't mind having a beverage or 2 during rehearsal, as long as it doesn't become the focal point of the session. I am mainly a rhythm guitar player myself and looking for other drama free players to get somehing off the ground, message me back here and we can start collaborating

Good evening, Despite in-person lessons are much better, I'm offering online sessions as well. Look forward to talking with you!
My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home. My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay. Feel free to respond to this ad, call or text: 647-294-0493. (I'm quite busy, if you text the instrument you wish to learn, I'll call as soon as I'm available)
Thanks for reading, I hope we chat soon! "Music is the mediator between the spiritual and sensual life" - Ludwig Van Beethoven.

Would like to learn how to line dance but don't have a partner? YOU DON'T NEED ONE! Here is your opportunity to learn line dance at a very slow pace with lots of repetition of dances taught, so they are remembered. A tentative proposed date is scheduled for Mondays (either 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or evening 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.) , commencing mid September, 2023. Class(es) take place at Parkside Centre, 140 Durham St., Sudbury (in the YMCA building). Payment for parking is required prior to 5:45 pm, but if you are 65 or older, you will be given a code for discounted parking (half price). You do not need to be a Parkside (Older Adult Centre) member to attend, but for $45 annual membership fee, it is well worth the money. All genres of music are used to please everyone, so if you are not a country fan, you will do lots of dances to other genres of music. For more information, contact Carol Larocque at 705-525-0448 or email at dancinfeetinmotion@gmail.com . Pre-registration (call or email) is required in order to determine if there is enough interest to proceed with a class. Register with Carol to be added to a mailing list. You will be notified mid-August if there is enough interest to plan a definite start date. First two (2) classes are free of charge, and the cost after that will be $7 for the 1.5 hour session (per lesson, per person). Payment is pay as you go (if you don't attend you don't pay). You won't be disappointed!
