Description
We have one Valais Blacknose cross ewe lamb and two proven Valais Blacknose cross ewes available. They will be perfect for breeding stock, fibre/wool animals, and pets.
Known as the “Cutest Sheep in the World,” Valais Blacknose sheep are prized for their adorable looks, beautiful wool, and friendly, people-loving personalities.
Cloud is an active, cheerful ewe lamb with lots of personality and a love of acrobatics, leaping and jumping just for fun. She is especially friendly if you have a handful of grain. She has the softest wool, it’s like patting a cloud, and should grow beautiful long, soft wool from her Gotland and Cotswold genetics. Naturally polled (hornless). Ready to go June 20.
37.5% Valais Blacknose × 25% Gotland × 25% Cotswold × 12.5% Babydoll – great wool and pet breeds $1,400
Mabel is a large, friendly ewe with gorgeous open Valais curled horns and long white wool, sheared twice a year. She is the flock leader and always the first to come say hello. She had twin ram lambs easily and unassisted this year and is an attentive, experienced mother. Halter trained and easy to handle. 4 years old, ready to go end of June when her lambs are weaned.
50% Valais Blacknose × 50% Scottish Blackface $1,400
Polly is the farm favourite, smart, curious, and full of personality. She’s the one who figures things out, including opening partially closed doors with her nose. She's a smaller ewe with beautiful long white fleece, so long she gets sheared twice a year and a calm, friendly personality. She had a lovely single ewe lamb this year, delivered easily on her own and is a great mom. Halter trained and easy to work with. 5 years old, ready to go end of June when her lamb is weaned.
25% Valais Blacknose × 75% Scottish Blackface $800
We are a small farm and our sheep are our much loved pets in addition to being well cared for breeding animals.
Our flock is tested (2026) and negative for Ovine Progressive Pneumonia (Maedi-Visna) and Johne's disease, and free of virulent foot rot, keds and lice. Cloud will have her first vaccinations and be ear tagged, tail docked, wormed and foot trimmed before she leaves and the Mabel and Pollly will be wormed and foot trimmed.
We are located in Roberts Creek, BC on the Sunshine Coast, a short ferry ride from Vancouver.
