Working with the existing farm team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and upkeep of farm equipment such as air drills, sprayers, combines, and semis. The successful candidate will also be required to perform equipment maintenance and repairs.Responsibilities:
• Operate seeding and harvest equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform running maintenance requirements and repair breakdowns as required
• Operate high clearance sprayer in a safe and efficient manner; including pesticide mixing, field operation, road operation, rinse out, and running maintenance
• Keep up farm and bin yards including mowing grass, spraying weeds, trimming trees & clearing snow
• During off season, assist in the annual repairs and maintenance of equipment fleet
• Use a tractor/trailer to transport products including seed and fertilizer to air drills, water and chemical to sprayers, grain from fields to bin yards or point of saleDesired Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum two (2) years grain farm experience
• Class 5 Drivers Licence
• Class 1A (asset)
• Saskatchewan Pesticide Applicator Licence would be considered an asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical skills and attention to detail
• Supreme time management, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills

WHO YOU ARE:
You have extensive experience operating modern agricultural machinery and ideally, a Class 1A licence (though not required). You are able to perform basic maintenance on tractors, augers, air seeders, harrows, pumps, sprayers, swathers, semis, combines, grain cart, and grain vacuum. You are comfortable cleaning bins, mowing grass, spraying weeds around yard sites, and following instructions. You have a positive attitude, are dependable, confident enough to work independently but also enjoy working as part of a team, and effectively take direction from leadership.
OTHER DETAILS:
• A valid driver’s licence is required. Abstract may be requested.
• Class 1A licence is not required but is preferred.
• Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, be able to lift 50lbs, be able to reach and bend, and sit for prolonged periods of time.

Fraser Seed Farm located at Pambrun, Saskatchewan is expanding its operation and is looking for someone to join our team. This person will help operate the seed plant with color sorter and perform maintenance on equipment in our shop through the winter months.
