Description
JOB DUTIES – BARISTA (NOC 65201)
Prepare and serve specialty coffee and espresso-based beverages
Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other beverage equipment
Steam milk and prepare beverages according to standard recipes
Take customer orders and process payments using POS system
Portion, assemble, and serve food items such as baked goods and sandwiches
Maintain cleanliness of coffee machines and equipment
Restock supplies including coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and lids
Maintain inventory and report shortages
Clean and sanitize work areas, counters, and service equipment
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints
Assist in opening and closing duties of the café
