Work Setting: Freight forwarding / trucking company in a remote location
Overview
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerks to join our team. The successful candidates will assist with shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, and documentation while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily warehouse operations.
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics is an asset
Training will be provided
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare bills of lading, invoices, shipping documents, and related paperwork
Inspect and verify incoming shipments against invoices and purchase orders
Receive, sort, and organize incoming goods and materials
Maintain accurate inventory and internal record-keeping systems
Record shortages, damages, and discrepancies
Reject damaged goods and report issues to management
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics staff to ensure timely shipment processing
Operate computer systems and update shipment information accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
