Our annual Three Day Goat School is coming up in May!

Are you thinking about getting dairy goats for your family’s milk supply? In this workshop, you will learn everything you need to care for your own dairy goats and make fabulous goat milk-based foods.

We will go over planning for shelter and fencing with your existing spaces in mind. We’ll spend time in the kitchen making cheeses, yogurt, cream, butter, and ice cream. We will practice hand-milking our Aurora Farm goats and practice trimming hooves, administering needles, giving a drench, taking a temperature, and wrapping a wound. This workshop is held during our birthing season so we will cover that, too! By the end of session you will be ready for goats! Some Aurora Farm goats may be available for purchase to families who have taken this course.
