We give ballroom dance lessons, in a social style suitable for Thunder Bay Dance Floors, at North End Rec. on Huron Street Our Classes Start in Mid-September for 10 Weeks, Mid-January for 8 Weeks and in March For 8 Weeks ending just before May long weekend.
The beginner classes run on Mondays from 7 PM to 8:30 PM.
If you have had ballroom lessons before, the Intermediate class runs on Tuesdays from 7 PM to 8:30 PM.
We also have a ballroom Linedance class on Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

Now in its 4th annual year, the Road Angels — a devoted and spirited group of women motorcyclists and proud trailblazers of Thunder Bay — will once again deliver love on two wheels to some of the most deserving and often-overlooked women in our community: the senior mothers of Chartwell Isabella Retirement Residence.
What the Road Angels recognized is something often hidden in plain sight — the quiet loneliness many mothers experience in senior living homes. Some have family far away, and others have no visitors at all. What began as a simple act of kindness has grown into a powerful annual tradition, bringing joy, connection, and unforgettable moments filled with smiles, laughter, and even a few happy tears.

Meet-Up Location: Tim Hortons – 419 Edward Street
Time: 1:15 PM
Lady Riders will gather for a short meet before riding together to the residence on Isabella Street East. Upon arrival, we’ll take a few moments outside — giving the residents that exciting rush of energy and the unmistakable sound of motorcycles they’ve come to love.
From there, we’ll head indoors to join the residents for a special Tea Social, graciously prepared by them for this year’s visit — a beautiful opportunity to sit, connect, and share stories together.
While the Tea Social lasts only a few hours in the early afternoon, its impact is felt all year long.
The Road Angels are proudly extending this invitation to fellow Lady Riders who would like to be part of something truly meaningful.

Looking for other people who are alone with no support and unable to manage tasks.
People who struggle with executive functioning, who are too alone perhaps or those who just need an accountability partner to help with motivation or procrastination...have used what is called work sharing or body doubling online or in person to help accomplish things, manage their homes, yard, goals and tasks...is easier when you have encouragement, support and when not utterly alone, knowing someone else will see if you do it or not, someone else will validate or praise your efforts, someone to tell of or show your accomplishments to...makes a big difference.

Hello...
Looking for others who would like a kind genuine friendship doing some good activities together.
For indoor activities I enjoy learning, diy, baking, crafting, movies at the theatre perhaps etc. Would love to find a card or board game group to join ! Like all games and do enjoy crib and poker as well. would be great to find some of those games, especially poker : )
Would love to travel to Minneapolis or Montreal etc after getting to know others if there are others who enjoy travel and road trips. ( seeking to visit Canterbury, Playground, Running Aces and new one in Toronto, perhaps for tournaments and 9 player games ).
Would be so enjoyable to find people to get outdoors with, especially for snow shoeing and cross country skiing ! Walking and hiking where feasible is good also. A winter bon fire or fishing would be delightful. Would be great to find others for foraging, or camping/fishing in the summer as well ).
As a woman, I prefer other women as it seems kijiji men dont always value friendship and agree to it but push and push with non friendship type prodding. I prefer people capable of meeting and respecting others where they are at.
