The Psychology of Emerging Adulthood Research Lab
Have you thought about reducing your cannabis use?
Are you between the ages of 19-25?
You may be eligible to participate in a treatment study on cannabis use
We are conducting a research study to determine whether a single online counselling session can help reduce cannabis use for young adults
IF YOU ARE:
19-25 years old
Have used cannabis at least 12 out of 30 days in the past month
Concerned about your cannabis use and have thought about reducing your cannabis use or stopping all together
Only concerned about your cannabis use (and no other substances)
Willing to complete one online counselling session to discuss your cannabis use
Not currently receiving any other treatment for cannabis use or cannabis-use related problems
Fluent in spoken and written English
Must reside in Ontario
What will I be asked to do?
Complete an initial online baseline assessment (30-45 minutes) ($20 compensation)
Complete an online post-intervention survey (5-10 minutes) ($5 compensation)
Complete an online 90-day follow up assessment (30-45 minutes) ($20 compensation)
We will ask half of the participants to complete one online counselling session
