Dental Assistant Level II

Sovereign Dental has an employee leaving to continue their education and we are looking to fill the position with a suitable fit, true team player. We are hiring for a Full-Time permanent Level II Dental Assistant that is experienced and contributes to the close positive culture and continued success at our Thunder Bay Sovereign location. Our team also works in a Pediatric specialized environment where customer service and patient care are our primary focus. We offer full benefits and competitive pay relative to experience.

Completion of a Certified Dental Assistant training program is required
Job description
Assisting with dental procedures such as restorations, crowns, implants, stainless steel crowns and extractions to mentions a few.
Taking & pouring dental impressions
Preparing patients for surgery
Sterilizing instruments following strict IPAC guidelines
Operating equipment and monitors
Communicating with patients
Performing administrative tasks
Preparing examination areas
Cleaning up and disinfecting the operatory after procedures
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of advanced dental procedures to anticipate the order of operations
Ability to take good X-rays, dental impressions, and blood pressure readings
Knowledge of dental materials and maintaining equipment
