Shift Engineer
Description
Agilus Work Solutions is looking for Shift Engineers for a well-known and ever-growing manufacturing company located in the Eastern tip of Ontario.
Our client offers competitive salaries guaranteed, plus benefits package including RELOCATION package that will be enjoyed by the successful candidates upon start of employment, on top of other benefits.
If you are a 2nd Class Power Engineer, with at least 3 years of work experience and strong background in training and leading a team of engineers under you, then this is the opportunity to start your long-term career with the company!
Other information includes:
Full-time employment with shift schedules of 2-days, 2-nights, and 4 days off cycle.
Will be leading a team of 6-8 people and must have a strong employee management experience to implement progressive discipline, training and other management functions.
Salary range start from $100,000 depending on the qualifications and interview processes.
Between $10,000- 15,000 relocation fee plus 14-day quarantine accommodations covered by company
Pulp and paper Industry experience will be considered a strong asset but not required
Valid authorization to work in Canada for any employer
2nd Class Operating Engineer Certificate is a must
Roles and Responsibilities:
The safe and efficient operation of the department including steam and power generation, liquor recovery, recausticizing and lime kiln.
Ensure that established targets for safety, production, quality and costs are met or exceeded while maintaining compliance with environmental and government regulations.
Mentoring all Power Engineers to excel in their roles.
Develop, execute, and monitor manpower requirements.
Ensure inspection and maintenance of pressure vessels.
Ensure the facility is operated and maintained to corporate, industry and legislative standards including TSSA standards.
