We are looking for a Landscape and Hardscape Apprentice to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to installing various types of landscape items such as sod, pavers, shrubbery, fencing, decking, retaining walls etc. The ideal candidate will have experience with various landscaping tools, and power equipment, proficiency in the operation of tools such as saws, cutters, drills. chain saw, and skid steer operation, be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, and have a strong work ethic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the landscaping industry.
Responsibilities:
Building green spaces by installing lawns, walk ways, paver stone driveways, retaining walls, recreational areas, gardens and other outdoor areas.
Operate various pieces of power equipment.
Perform general maintenance of landscaping equipment.
Remove debris from outdoor areas.
Manually load and unload various types of materials
Assist in all other duties assigned
Ideally candidates must have their own transportation to get to the local job sites. A Class G license is an asset , with a clean driving record in order to drive company vehicles.Work hours can be greater than 8 hours in day, and can require weekend work, as this industry is dependent on weather and timely completion of jobs hours can be varied.

**Job Description.**
- Keep a clean and orderly kitchen
- Maintain and adhere to a schedule of cleaning and alerting the owner to any - issues with the kitchen appliances or any of the fridges and freezers
- To keep to a set schedule of ordering food using a pre-determined list, any special events/requests will be discussed with the owner and administration
- Maintaining and adhering to a pre-set menu for guests and providing meals for camp staff based on the available food in camp and a rotating schedule of leftovers.
- You will be responsible for the dishes, prep and proper food-safe storage of all food items and leftovers.
** There may be time where you are asked to work outside of the kitchen to support the camp. All staff members are expected to be reasonably redeployed by the owner for short periods of time to maintain the integrity of our camp.**
Be aware that this is a remote camp.
This camp runs Propane, a Diesel generator, and does not have deep fryers.
All cooking is done on a propane range, a flat-top, two ovens, and a barbeque.
Once the staff arrive onsite, barring emergencies or pre-arranged leaves, the camp runs all summer and staff generally do not leave outside of required supply runs.
If you have any dietary or medical restrictions, please let us know in advance.
You will be required to bring:
- The clothes you need for the season with temperatures that can get as low as 0 early on and as high as 30 in the midsummer (There are laundry facilities onsite, BYO softener)

- Fishing gear if you have it - we catch pike and walleye (but don't worry we have some at camp as well)

Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
Repair or replace mechanical units or components
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
Perform scheduled maintenance service, Test and adjust units to specifications
Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required

Prior work experience as a technician an assett
Knowledgeable with air brakes and electrical diagnostics

Job Duties
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Heavy Equipment Technician maintains, repairs and rebuilds on mining/ construction equipment in the shop and field on a 14x14 schedule. The Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for making recommendations regarding the extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvement, repair the equipment in a timely and financially responsible manner, interpret work orders and technical manuals, and more duties as required

You will possess a Journeyperson / Red Seal HET, certification and have experience in Mining Equipment
