Responsibilities
In order to achieve these objectives, IAMB requires the services of ONE (1) Senior Software Developer to perform following activities:
1. Requirements Analysis
Analyze business and system requirements: Perform detail analysis of the business and system requirements of the IAM reporting initiative, analyze in light of the new developed Enterprise IAM Services and provide feedback directly to the respective business analyst to ensure that the requirements are aligned with the target solution.
Analyze current IAM environments: The current (legacy) IAM services has some service performance and consumption reporting in place. Perform detail analysis of the current environment, tools and technology used and review existing documentation. Identify gaps and update the documentation for accuracy.
2. Technical design and documentation
The initiative requires a thorough work governance and design JAD sessions. The consultant will contribute with his / her expertise of monitoring tools and technology, standards and processes in preparations of architecture governance and design sessions with the Infrastructure Technology Services (ITS) team.
3. Coding and development
Development and / or configuration of required IAM Services reports i.e. Infrastructure monitoring reports using the COTS tool, or manual scripting, and development of service consumption reports, as per the business requirements and approved technical design.
The consultant will review the design documents and ensure that the reports are developed as per design. These reports include IAM services performance and consumption reports.
Conduct a thorough unit testing of IAM reporting code, scripts or stored procedures, document results to ensure high quality to the satisfaction of the business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
The consultant will create documentation of coding approach and the code as per the OPS and Industry best practices
The consultant, as and when required, will package the code to propagate on to the preprod and production environments.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance
Develop a detail test plan to test new reports and dashboards developed for the project. The test plan should include detail test cases, expected outcomes and results. The consultant will work with the OPS QA lead to seek standards and documentation template.
The consultant will conduct necessary unit and regression testing, capture results into the test plans, and resolve any identified issues in time.
The consultant will present the findings to the ETD team, and address any concerns from the ETD team or users regarding the developed IAM reports.
5. Documentation and Knowledge transfer
The consultant is expected to develop detail documentation during the development and testing cycle. As and when needed by the project manager, the consultant will present and transfer knowledge to identified ministry individuals.
The consultant will provide code walkthroughs, presentations and demonstration of developed IAM reports as a part of overall knowledge transfer
Qualifications
5 years experience in developing Web-based Java EE and Cloud-Native applications using API-based model, Responsive Web Design, Serverless Architecture, etc), and industry-leading Open Source frameworks like Angular, JSON, Node.js, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Struts2 in addition to Java, EJB, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JPA, XML (DOM, SAX, XSLT), DHTML/HTML, Web Service, WebLogic, relational, hierarchical databases.

Responsibilities
1. Support of the ONe-key environments for DEV, UAT and Production, including Entrust GetAccess, Identity Guard, IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle LDAP and Database.
1.1 Troubleshooting OS and application issues, creating installation upgrading and build books.
1.2 Requesting and installing device certificates for ONe-key servers.
1.3 Monitoring the health, performance and status of service components (e.g. technology stack)
1.4 Starting and stopping service components; Backing up or recovering service components (e.g. associated data or configurations);
1.5 Tuning service components.
1.6 Maintaining service components (e.g. applying patches, renewing certificates or licenses);
1.7 Triaging, analysing, and resolving incidents related to ONe-key;
1.8 Identifying, analysing, and resolving problems related to ONe-key;
1.9 Assessing the impacts of changes on ONe-key, including changes raised by clients and service providers (e.g. ITS, CompuCom, Telus); and Documenting maintenance and support requirements and procedures.
2. Provide on-call support for the ONe-key production system 24 X 7.
2.1 Participate in incident management as an incident coordinator, incident analyst, or tier-2/ tier-3 SME.
2.2 Participate in change management as a change coordinator, change analyst or application SME.
2.3 Working with clients across the OPS and BPS to integrate their applications with ONe-key and GO Secure for access management (e.g. anonymous “authentication”, authorization) by performing tasks such as:
2.3.1 Creating database schemas;
2.3.2 Creating and maintaining web Service Admin LDAP accounts;
2.3.3 Deploying enrollment applications (via WebSphere) and PID plugin applications;
2.3.4 Configuration of GetAccess;
2.3.5 Configuration of ONe-key portal to present client application links;
2.3.6 Setting up of GetAccess Runtime and PID Filters on client webservers;
2.3.7 Configuring auto-redirecting according to client’s requirements;
2.3.8 Going on-site or remotely to assist client with installation and troubleshooting.
2.3.9 Identifying and resolving issues (incidents) related to the clients’ Production, UAT and Development systems involved with One-key;
2.3.10 Identifying and explaining technical issues, providing solutions to ONe-key clients (ministries and clusters).
2.3.11 Analyzing Clients technical requirements, designing solutions, describing patterns related to Integration
solutions;
2.3.12 Developing process and plans that support applications, construction, testing and deployment of solutions, analyzing and resolving issues encountered during Integration;
2.3.13 Developing utilities, scripts, applets, and reports to facilitate and automate the integration experience; and
3. Monitor the consumption and performance of the ONe-key service by:
3.1 Developing requirements for monitoring and reporting tools;
3.2 Evaluating and recommending tools;
3.3 Installing and configuring tools;
3.4 Developing, testing, and deploying programmatic constructs (e.g. scripts, queries, views, reports, procedures); and
3.5 Documenting maintenance and support requirements and procedures.
4. Improve the support posture of the ONe-key team by:
4.1 Developing requirements for support tools;
4.2 Evaluating and recommending tools;
4.3 Installing and configuring tool,
4.4 Developing, testing, and deploying programmatic constructs (e.g. scripts, queries, views, reports, procedures or other);
4.5 Documenting maintenance and support requirements and procedures.
5. Foster a team culture of excellence and innovation, including:
5.1 Developing or informing the development of role descriptions for the sustainment of ONe-key, especially
related to the technical support function;
5.2 Developing plans for the knowledge and skills transfer to OPS employees, including activities or tests to demonstrate the successful transfer of knowledge and attainment of required skills. OPS employees includes IT Source People Placement Service;
5.3 Developing plans for the transition of sustainment functions to OPS employees; and
5.4 Transferring knowledge to OPS employees.
Qualifications
*10+ years experience sustaining (e.g. administration, operations, support, patching, monitoring, starting/ stopping) large
identity and access management implementations based on Entrust's security products including: GetAccess,
IdentityGuard, and Security Manager (PKI). A large implementation would include over 50,000 registered users.
*4+ years experience sustaining (see above list on activities) large application implementations based on the following
technology products: Windows Internet Information Server (IIS), IBM HTTP Server, Apache, IBM WebSphere, Oracle
database 11g (and later), Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition, Solaris, Windows, AIX and Linux

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build enterprise, business operations services including financial accounting, risk monitoring, p&l optimisation to support a payments business that uses crypto to deliver an innovative experience to customers.
- Prototype new solutions for complex software problems and implement them for on premise and cloud deployments and use cases
- Work with wider engineering team on the design, deployment and continuous improvement of core products
- Be a technical subject matter expert, provide technical leadership and share your expertise with a growing team of engineers
- Continuously raise our standard of engineering excellence by implementing and driving best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience on large scale distributed systems, with the last 5-7+ years in Java (with Spring/Spring Boot Framework), and 2+ years experience working as a tech lead.
- Experience in building transactional systems (preferably in payments / banking / e-commerce domains) , backed by an RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle or MS SQL Server)
- Software development experience in at least one of the web frontend frameworks: Node Js, React JS, Angular Js etc.
- Experience in cloud native technologies and DevOps with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, log file management and reporting, Sumo Logic, Splunk, etc.
- Experience with Agile development of distributed services, with a focus on robust software design, scalability and security

What you’ll do
• Performing inspections and examinations, troubleshooting problems, fixing and replacing components, modifying and upgrading parts, and conducting regular maintenance checks to ensure quality and efficiency
• Maintaining an accurate record of all items/parts used to repair, replace, or maintain appliances.
• Unpacks appropriate hardware and then installs software as per instruction or to custom specifications.
• Tests configured systems for appropriate functioning and troubleshoots for any errors found.
• Completes all required documentation of installation including a quality assurance sheet to ensure accurate billing with respect to warranty contracts, proper processing of defective products and timely vendor returns and reimbursements.
• Follows customer personal computer system hardware and software specifications based on the configuration services being performed and the instructions supplied (on-line instructions, config. sheets).
• Complies with departmental training certification requirements based on config, level by job function, i.e. Config. Level I, II, III.
• Troubleshoots malfunctioning units using efficient problem-solving techniques and departmental procedures.

• Proven experience repairing, installing, and maintaining Laptop, Desktop, Printers etc.

• Ability to launch and operate laptop/desktop diagnostic tools to perform remote diagnostics.
