Would definitely consider trades for her for a good trail/mountain horse
So I’m looking to sell my 2007 registered Thoroughbred mare, Nyah shes an eye catching flea bitten grey, thoroughbred standing at 16h+. She was a former race horse, but is now retired as she’s grown out of her racing years and her past owners didn’t have the time anymore. She was also doing lots of jumping which she seems to enjoy. She can rear on command, has a beautiful lope/canter as well as a gallop. Her jog/trot is good too just more on the bumpier side. I’m selling her due to no fault of her own, we just can’t seem to get that connection while we go out riding like we should have. She’s an amazing mare with a goofy yet very sassy personality, and never fails to make someone smile. She can be ridden in both western and English styles, loves playing tag and will chase you back and forth, and loves kicking around a yoga ball! Nyah has had a ton of training and knows what she’s doing and is worth so much more then what I’m asking for her. She’s truly a special horse. The only true vices that come with her is that she has thin soles which is a very common trait in thoroughbreds, all this truly effects is that shoes are a must for her with the exception during winter depending on location. Also a factor from this she doesn’t need to be seen by the farrier as often as her hooves don’t grow as fast. She needs an experienced/confident rider as she is very sensitive and light to touch, and can be very fresh as she has much more go then whoa.
Nyah is UTD on everything and has great teeth, loads and unloads trailers with no problems at all, and great for the farrier!
She has done a few trail rides but doesn’t seem to be quite her thing due to her feet and being a cautiousness aware horse, could also just depend on the area you live in. Her past owners took her out to the trails all the time. May also be another part of our missing connection as well. No spook with this lady, she’ll freeze up and take a moment taking in her surroundings and making sure your okay and her self then will continue on.
I do have her papers and registration as well, that she’ll come with as well as her winter blanket.
She truly is such a sweetheart and a big baby, I’m having a hard time knowing I need to sell her but I want to find her the perfect home where I know she’ll be taken care of.

Hi,
Do you have a horse that needs exercise, to keep them going ?
I'm a confident adult rider, and have experience in both Western and English disciplines.I'm interested in doing an offsite lease, where your horse would be boarded at a barn / facility.
If you have a horse that's not doing much, and needs that extra maintenance and miles, let me know.
