Sales associate, Equipment handler (Gym Equipment Retail)

We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated individual to join our gym equipment retail business in British Columbia. This role covers all facets of the business, with a strong focus on communication, product knowledge, and operations.
Position Details:
• Schedule: 35 total hours weekly, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, some Evenings and weekends. Hours vary depending on orders, shipments and scheduled customer viewings.
• in person availability as needed, typically when shipments arrive and customer order fulfillment.
• Compensation: $4,000 per month starting salary
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate fluently in both English and Chinese with overseas manufacturers and domestic customers
•. Advertise and market business and product offerings. Respond to customer inquires.
• Showcase products to customers
• Tailor products to customers needs and make appropriate recommendations
• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to in-person and online clients
• Stay up to date with new gym equipment trends and products in Asia and North America
• Assist with marketing, product launches, and retail sales support
Equipment and materials handler (100+lbs)
• General administrative and operational support across the business
Requirements:
• Fluency in Chinese and English (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge and personal interest in gym equipment and fitness
• Previous experience in retail, importing, or logistics is an asset
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and willing to learn
• Comfortable with technology and online communication tools
